Witches Coven is the ninth episode of Survivor: Cambodia.
Joe, Kimmi Kappenberg, and Kelly Wiglesworth desperately search for the new Hidden Immunity Idol, but ultimately fail. Jeremy Collins finds a clue telling him to follow a trail the following night to a torch where he will find an idol. He manages to sneak away from the group and snag his second idol of the season.
At the Immunity Challenge, Jeff Probst offered the first person to jump off and touch their buoy and advantage. Stephen won the advantage after narrowly defeating Spencer Bledsoe in a close race. After Joe wins his third straight immunity, Stephen goes to Ciera, Kelley, and Abi-Maria and suggests getting rid of Kelly, seeing her as a social threat. Elsewhere, Kimmi devises a plan to split the votes between Ciera and Kelley.
Stephen tells Jeremy and Spencer of the plan to blindside Kelly. Spencer reluctantly agrees, but Jeremy is uncertain about the idea.
Teams have to place poles of varying lengths into their holders to form a staircase, and then run up it. Then, they would then make their way through a multistory wooden maze. Once every team member had made it through the maze, one member would have to retrieve a key and use it to unlock a box of puzzle pieces. Two other team members would then have to use the puzzle pieces to solve a puzzle, which displayed three numbers. They then have to use the three numbers to unlock a combination that would enable them to raise their flag. The first team to raise their flag wins.
Reward: Trip to a Survivor spa
Winner: Purple Team
|Reward Challenge: Styx|
Ciera, Joe, Spencer, Stephen, & Tasha
Jeremy, Keith, Kelley, Kelly, & Kimmi
Challenge: Bermuda Triangles
The castaways would stand on slanted slats on a podium over the water. At regular intervals, they would move up to a higher set of slats, making it harder to balance. After 30 minutes, the castaways would move to the top of the podium. After another 20 minutes, any remaining castaways will have to balance on one foot, where the last person left standing wins immunity.
Additional Stipulation: At some point during the challenge, castaways will have the opportunity to have an advantage in the game, by forfeiting the challenge and jumping off their pedestals in order to race to their buoys. The first to reach their buoy gets the advantage, which is secret (later revealed as the ability to "steal a vote" at any Tribal Council up to the Final Five).
Winner: Joe Anglim ( Stephen Fishbach won the advantage)
|Immunity Challenge: Bermuda Triangles|
| Tribal Council 9:|
Kelly (6 votes)
Abi-Maria, Ciera, Jeremy, Kelley, Spencer, & Stephen
Ciera (3 votes)
Kelly, Kimmi, & Tasha
Kelley (2 votes)
Joe & Keith
| VOTED OFF:|
|“||(voting for Ciera) I'm voting for you because it's part of the plan. I just hope it works.||”|
|“||(voting for Kelley) Sorry, girl.||”|
|“||(voting for Kelly) I really hope this plan works. There's only room for one Kell(e)y on this island.||”|
|“||I didn't hope to go out this early. I know I was voted out because I'm a threat. I mean, I figured the three girls were gonna vote for me. It's the two other votes that I kind of suspect. I hope it wasn't Joe. It's a much different game this time than it was last time. It's not really my style, so… they can have at it. (chuckles)||”|

Life at Ponderosa
Kelly Wiglesworth gets her customary post-game weigh-in where she lost 15 lbs. While on her way to Ponderosa, she says just like in her first season Borneo, she came for the experience and not to win the money. When she arrives to Ponderosa, Kass McQuillen and Andrew Savage warmly welcome her with open arms. She takes a shower and than sits down to eat a bacon cheeseburger and fries. She reveals to Kass and Andrew that her birthday will be tomorrow. Kelly states she is glad that Kass and Andrew are speaking to each other.
The next day, on her birthday, Kelly relaxes on the beach and does some jogging and yoga.
- With Kelly Wiglesworth's elimination, Kimmi Kappenberg is the final pre-Survivor: All-Stars returnee remaining and Stephen Fishbach is the only former finalist remaining.
- Jeremy Collins calling his two Hidden Immunity Idols as "Val's idols" is a possible reference about his wife Val Collins' scheme during “Method to This Madness” in Survivor: San Juan del Sur in a secret scene, where Val tried to save herself by telling some castaways that she had two idols (when in truth, she had none).
- Joe Anglim has now broken Marcus Lehman's record for the most number of consecutive days a castaway is ineligible to be voted against since the start of the game, breaking the previous record of 24 days.
- As revealed in her Ponderosa video, Kelly was voted out one day short of her birthday.
- The episode title is said by Kimmi Kappenberg referring to the alliance of Abi-Maria Gomes, Ciera Eastin, and Kelley Wentworth.
