3 Words to Describe You: Achiever, competitor and manipulator.
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why? 1. Scuba gear because I can't get enough of the ocean. 2. Bottle of cabernet because it's a great sunset drink with a girl. 3. I'm big on nostalgia so a camera.

Everyone was the best, the brightest, and the most beautiful…even when they were not. You could abhor them but it was done with a smile so they had no idea. THAT'S SURVIVOR.
Why Will You Be the Sole Survivor: I worked two years at the top agency in the world- I can outwit. I have two master degrees, one from Berkeley and one from USC- I can outsmart. I played on seven professional football teams- I can outlast.[1]

Survivor[]

Tyler began the game on the White Collar Masaya tribe and quickly formed an alliance with Joaquin Souberbielle and Carolyn Rivera. After the White Collars lost the first Immunity Challenge, Carolyn showed Tyler her Hidden Immunity Idol so that he would stay loyal to her. At Tribal Council, Tyler stuck with Carolyn and So Kim was blindsided. The White Collars then won the next three Immunity Challenges, thus keeping them safe from Tribal Council. On Day 12, a tribe switch occurred. Tyler, Joaquin, and former No Collar Joe Anglim joined the Escameca, and found themselves in the minority as the tribe retained its Blue Collar majority. Escameca threw the Immunity Challenge on Day 16 in order to save the only Blue Collar on the Nagarote tribe, Kelly Remington. After the challenge Rodney Lavoie Jr. convinced Tyler and Joaquin to vote out Joe because he would be a physical threat after the merge. However, at Tribal Council, Joaquin was blindsided.

On Day 17, the tribes merged into the Merica tribe and Tyler was reunited with his other ally, Carolyn. After Joe won immunity on Day 19, both Tyler and Carolyn pondered over joining Rodney's Escameca Alliance or the Nagarote Alliance. At Tribal Council, they sided with the Blue Collars and voted against Jenn Brown. However, Jenn played her Hidden Immunity Idol negating the seven votes cast against her and blindsiding Kelly in a 4-1-0 vote.

Th next day, Tyler and Carolyn joined Rodney's inner alliance consisting of themselves, Rodney, and Will Sims II. Joe won the Reward Challenge and took him, Carolyn, Will, and Shirin Oskooi to the reward. Tyler later saw Joe taking the clue for the Hidden Immunity Idol. The next day, Joe shared the clue with him. However, Mike Holloway caught them and Tyler was forced to share the clue with Mike. Joe won immunity again on Day 22, forcing the alliance to blindside Hali Ford. On Day 24, Tyler outlasted Joe to win individual immunity and Joe was voted out at the subsequent Tribal Council. On Day 25, Rodney conspired with Tyler, Carolyn, and Will to get rid of Mike next, which Mike overheard.

After the Survivor Auction, Mike outed the alliance to everyone. However, this made Tyler and the others target Mike. Mike managed to save himself by winning immunity on Day 27. At Tribal Council, Tyler and the alliance split the vote between Jenn and Shirin. Due to Shirin and Mike voting against Jenn, Jenn was voted out. After Mike won immunity again on Day 29, Tyler searched through Dan Foley's bag to see what the advantage he bought at the Survivor Auction was and found out that it was an Extra Vote and shared this information with Carolyn. At Tribal Council, Shirin told everyone to get rid of Tyler and Mike showed everyone his Hidden Immunity Idol, announcing that he would play his idol on Shirin and that she would vote for Tyler. This made Tyler and Will switch their votes to Dan. However, Mike did not play his idol on Shirin and she was voted out, though Tyler received votes from Mike and Shirin.

Later that night, Dan confronted Tyler about voting for him and Tyler said that he got scared and apologized. On Day 30, the team of Tyler, Rodney, and Dan lost the Reward Challenge due to Rodney forgetting the balls. Mike, Carolyn, and Sierra Dawn Thomas won the challenge, but none of them gave it up to Rodney, which infuriated him. After the challenge, he started whining, which annoyed Tyler and Dan. Rodney later decided to act like he would not quit so that Mike would not play his idol, but Tyler knew that plan would not work. On Day 32, Carolyn outlasted Tyler to win immunity. However, due to Mike having the idol, the majority alliance of six was forced to turn on each other. Tyler plotted with Carolyn and Will to blindside Dan because of his advantage. At the Tribal Council, all the males voted for Mike. However, Mike played his idol negating the four votes cast against him. Carolyn betrayed Tyler and voted against him along with Mike and Sierra and he was blindsided in a 3-0 vote.

At Final Tribal Council, Tyler asked Mike what he brought to the game socially, and told Carolyn to redeem herself for backstabbing him. While he seemed satisfied with Carolyn's answer, he voted for Mike to win. Mike would win with 6 votes to only 1 for Carolyn, and 1 for Will.
