Does anyone know how much time between survivor jury votes and live announcement of winner?
Also, where does the jury stay while waiting for the final vote?

I'd like to know, too. How long have we been waiting for the season's end if Brenda's nine months pregnant?
Usually the season airing September-December (ie the odd numbered seasons) in May/June. They then shoot the seasons that air February-May a few weeks later (July-August). The last cycle was on a different schedule though, they shot Survivor Phillippines in March/April, then shot Caramoan in the May/June slot, then during July and August Jeff was shooting episodes of his talk show. The crew for Caramoan left a few days after the finale of Survivor One World.
So to answer the question, odd numbered seasons have to wait about 6 months for the final vote to be revealed, even numbered seasons have to wait 9. Phillippines was about 7 months and Caramoan was about 10 and half. I believe the individual pages for each season on this site give them filming dates.
The jury is sequestered in a jury house named Ponderosa upon being voted out, and remain there until FTC to cast their votes. They go home afterwards and although it's not forbidden (except Borneo for Hatch) it is highly recommended that the castaways don't reveal what happened during the season.
I can't imagine having to conceal the results of the show for upwards of half a year!

If you look at the individual season pages of this wiki, it will list the filming dates and the season run time.
