Coming into the game with little outdoor experience, Simone had difficulty finding her footing in the game, and as a result, was seen as a social recluse. When her tribe lost the second Immunity Challenge, Simone and the erratic Patrick Bolton were both put on the chopping block. Despite her continuous efforts to prove her worth, the tribe agreed to keep strength over loyalty, sending Simone home in a 5-1 vote.

Hometown: Worcester, Mass.
Current residence: New York City
Occupation: Diversity Advocate
Hobbies: Volunteering, yoga, and complaining.
Pet peeves: I dislike people who lack self-awareness.
Three words to describe you: Expressive, loyal, and ambitious.
What's your personal claim to fame? I don't really have one, but I'm proud of the fact that I earned full rides to Columbia, Harvard, and Tufts.
Who or what is your inspiration in life? My mentor and friend Susan Shin, a successful businesswoman and attorney in NYC. You would never know the struggles or experiences she has had in life by looking at her. Not only is she one of the most talented people that you could meet, she is also one of the kindest.
If you could have three things on the island, what would they be and why? I would bring a journal, my red Vietnamese blanket, and Chapstick.
Survivor contestant you're most like: Tai from Kaôh Rōng, because I'm like bamboo in the wind, and Michaela from Millennials vs. Gen X, because I enjoy judging everyone.
What's your reason for being on Survivor: I wanted a change... for like a month.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? I have good luck and I'm unafraid to make consequential decisions that affect everyone's game.
Simone was placed on the "Hustler" Yawa tribe at the beginning of the season for her life story as an immigrant who has had to overcome adversity without giving up. On Day 4, Simone celebrated her triumph over the outdoors in spite of her inexperience in the wild. Ali Elliott approached Simone and complimented her work ethic in order to lure Simone in as a potential ally. Yawa then lost the Immunity Challenge on Day 6 partly due to Simone's inability to assist with the puzzle. At camp, Simone tried to convince the tribe to go after Patrick Bolton for his unpredictability. Nonetheless, at Tribal Council, Simone was voted out in a unanimous 5-1 vote, as the tribe decided to keep challenge strength over loyalty.
