Sierra Dawn Thomas is a contestant from Survivor: Worlds Apart and Survivor: Game Changers.

On her debut in Worlds Apart, Sierra played a generally safe game, preferring to stick with her alliance rather than flip to take out larger threats. Eventually her pleasantness made her too much of a threat to take to the end, and she was blindsided and eliminated in 5th place.

Early on in Game Changers, Sierra managed to put herself in a comfortable position. However, Sarah Lacina's flip after the merge put her in the minority. Despite this, she remained close with Sarah, eventually revealing her possession of the Legacy Advantage to her. In the end, this revelation, combined with Sierra's own willingness to will the advantage to her and her close alliance with Brad Culpepper, caused Sarah to target her at the next vote, resulting in her elimination.

Hobbies: Rodeo, basketball, football, hunting and fishing.
What is your favorite sport? Rodeo, basketball and long distance running.
Pet Peeves: Being late because it's so disrespectful, when people loudly chew their food and underachievers (at least give it an honest try).
3 Words to Describe You: Competitive, athletic and outgoing.
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why? 1. A radio because music makes my soul happy. 2. A notepad and pen because I love writing down my thoughts and goals. 3. Chocolate milk because I literally can drink a gallon in two days.
SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: Parvati Shallow, hands down, because she's not overly aggressive and uses her female traits to her advantage, she's a very intelligent woman.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: I truly believe there is little I cannot do. My physical, mental and emotional capabilities are of a man's level.
Why You'll "Survive" SURVIVOR: I'm not afraid to set impossible goals and strive to achieve them. I'm extremely athletic and push my body to its utmost limit.

Why Will You Be the Sole Survivor: I am a 6'1" model and most people just see me as a pretty face, but I'm a cowgirl and rancher who doesn't mind doing a man's job. I am also an extreme athlete. I played basketball, volleyball and ran track and cross-country in high school (got offered a full ride scholarship for college basketball but decided to take the rodeo scholarship). I am a college student who's going to school for a master's in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Corrections. I believe in strategizing and I am not afraid to push myself mentally and physically.[1]

Age: 29

Hometown: Roy, UT
Previously played on: Season 30: White, Blue, No Collar, Finished 5th & Jury Member
How have you changed since the last time you played? I’m physically stronger, more aware, and better at reading people. Also, emotionally, I am less sensitive.
What skills do you bring to Survivor that will make you a useful member of the group and what skills have you been learning since you last played? I can do anything outdoorsy! I’m physically strong, loyal, easy to talk to, and people trust me. I am in better physical shape than I have ever been. I practice puzzles every day. I’m mentally and physically ready.
What are you most proud of from the last time? My loyalty. I set aside pride and played the game. I am proud of my physical strength. I was a strong competitor in every challenge.
What, if anything, do you most regret? I regret not making a big move and to win, you have to. This time I am willing and ready to do whatever it takes.

How will you play differently this time? Last time, I focused too much on my social game. I know it’s important, but I need to use the friendships I make to an advantage. I want to make big moves, blindsides, and do things that make me worthy to win. I am a physically strong competitor. I am bound and determined to win the Immunity necklace numerous times![2]

Worlds Apart

Sierra arrived to Survivor: Worlds Apart and was placed on the hardworking Escameca (blue collar tribe). Throughout the pre-tribe swap days, she was criticized by her tribe mates for her lack of work ethic around camp, and quickly found herself near the bottom of the tribe alliance. However she formed a bond with Lindsey Cascaddan. The Blue Collars won the first three challenges so they avoided Tribal Council for the first 8 days. However, they finally lost the Immunity Challenge on Day 11. Sierra and Lindsey targeted Rodney Lavoie Jr. for his sexist comments about women. At Tribal Council the votes were split between her, Lindsey and Rodney. Lindsey was eliminated in the revote which made Sierra upset because she was all alone.

On Day 12, a tribe swap occurred and she found herself on what was still a predominantly Blue Collar tribe with 4 of the 5 original blue collar members, amongst the 7 member tribe. Due to her rocky relationships with both Rodney and Dan, she was at first a target for elimination should the tribe go to Tribal Council. However, the tribe reverted its target to Joe Anglim instead as Rodney, Joaquin Souberbielle, and Tyler Fredrickson viewed him as too large of a physical threat. Mike Holloway and Rodney even threw the Day 16 Immunity Challenge in an attempt to get rid of Joe. Mike and Dan however decided to keep Joe and split up the close bond forming between Rodney and Joaquin, so Sierra became the swing vote. Ultimately she voted against Joaquin, blindsiding him in a 4-3 vote.

On Day 17, the tribes merged and she joined a large alliance of the original Blue Collar tribe and White Collar tribe members. The alliance targeted Joe but he won immunity so they targeted Jenn Brown. At Tribal Council, Jenn played her Hidden Immunity Idol negating the seven votes cast against her blindsiding Kelly Remington in a 4-1-0 vote. Joe won immunity again on Day 22 so the alliance targeted Hali Ford. However, Sierra considered joining an all girls alliance with the girls from the Nagarote Alliance to vote out Dan. However, at Tribal Council she remained loyal to her blue collar alliance and Hali was blindsided in a 7-4 vote. Tyler won immunity on Day 24 and Joe was voted out at Tribal Council. After the Survivor Auction, Mike blew up Rodney's inner alliance to everybody. However, this made Sierra and the others turn on him. However, Mike won immunity on Day 27 so the alliance eliminated Jenn at Tribal Council.

Mike won immunity again on Day 29 and Shirin Oskooi became the target. After the challenge, Shirin told Sierra to get rid of Tyler because he was a challenge threat. Sierra wanted to get rid of Tyler but was not sure if her alliance would do that. At Tribal Council, Shirin was voted out. On Day 30, the team of Sierra, Carolyn Rivera, and Mike won reward. However, they did not give it up to Rodney which infuriated him because it was his birthday. Carolyn won immunity on Day 32. However, due to Mike having the Hidden Immunity Idol the majority alliance of six was forced to turn on each other. Carolyn proposed to Sierra, Dan, and Rodney that they split their votes between Mike and Tyler. At Tribal Council Mike played his idol negating the four votes cast against him; Carolyn, Sierra, and Mike voted for Tyler and Tyler was sent to the jury.

On Day 35, Mike narrowly defeated Sierra to win immunity so now the majority alliance of five was forced to turn on each other. Dan told Sierra to vote for Carolyn but she considered voting for Dan because of his advantage. Mike later told Carolyn and Sierra that Dan, Will, and Rodney are voting for Carolyn. At Tribal Council, Sierra joined Dan, Will, and Rodney in voting for Carolyn. Dan used his Extra Vote advantage and cast a second vote for Carolyn. However, Carolyn played her Hidden Immunity Idol, negating the five votes against her blindsiding Dan in a 2-0 vote. On Day 36, the final five got to meet their loved ones. Sierra met her dad Danny. Mike won immunity on Day 37 forcing the majority alliance of four to turn on each other. She sided with Carolyn and Mike to get rid of Rodney. However, during tribal council she openly stated she was a threat, so she was blindsided in a 4-1 vote.

At the Final Tribal Council, she asked Will which of the other finalists' traits he wanted. n the end, she was the only juror to vote for Carolyn, who lost to Mike in a 6-1-1 vote.

Game Changers

While on the boat, Sierra finds the Legacy Advantage. Sierra was on Nuku. She aligned with Brad Culpepper and found out that the legacy advantage gives her immunity at the final 13 or final 6. Nuku won the first two immunity challenges. She along with fellow Nuku's Brad, Tai Trang, and Debbie Wanner were switched to Mana. They were joined by original Mana members Caleb Reynolds and her fellow Worlds Apart castmate Hali Ford. Mana lost immunity. At camp, Sierra, Brad, Debbie, and Hali agreed to vote out Caleb. Caleb was voted out at tribal council.

Tavua won immunity on Day 11. However, the losing tribes (Nuku and Mana) had to go to a Joint Tribal Council, and vote out one member. Sierra suggested voting out Malcolm Freberg for his strength in challenges. At Tribal Council, Brad Convinced Tai to play his Hidden Immunity Idol on Sierra after being told by Nuku member JT Thomas she was the target. The six votes cast against her were negated, and Malcolm was blindsided. She, along with Brad and Hali, remained on Mana after the second tribe switch.

At the merge, Sierra wanted Michaela Bradshaw out because she did not like her. She later thought about splitting the vote between Hali and Michaela because she believed Hali had an idol. However, Hali was blindsided. After being notified by Zeke Smith that she was the target, and he wanted to work with her, she talked to Cirie about this. She was later persuaded by Debbie to blindside Ozzy Lusth. Ozzy was blindsided at the next tribal council. On Day 26, she told Sarah Lacina whom she believed was on her side she wanted to make a final three deal with her and Debbie. However, Sarah flipped on Sierra's alliance, blindsiding Debbie, and leaving Sierra and her remaining allies on the bottom.

At the next Tribal Council, Sierra voted for Tai, received two votes, but Zeke was blindsided. The next day, she told Sarah about her legacy advantage and that she would give it to her if she was voted out, and she mether dad Dan. While Brad, Sarah, Andrea Boehlke, Aubry Bracco, and Cirie Fields were on the loved ones trip, Michaela and Tai plotted with Sierra and Troyzan Robertson to align with Brad and target Andrea. Brad won immunity. At camp, Sierra and her alliance planned to convince Tai and Michaela to blindside Andrea. However, Sarah told Michaela and Tai about Sierra's legacy advantage, and this prompted them not to side with Sierra. At tribal council, Sierra, Brad, and Troyzan voted for Andrea, but the rest voted for Sierra, and thus voting her out. Not knowing Sarah was the reason she was out, she gave her the legacy advantage.

At the Final Tribal Council, she gave her vote to her ally Brad who lost to Sarah in a 7-3-0 vote.
