At the next tribal, Hunter was voted out.
On Day 10, The castaways at was thought to be the Reward Challenge. Instead, the castaways had to stand on wooden discs. In truth, it was a Tribe Switch and the color of buff is the tribe tribe they are going to. Sean, Rob and Vecepia was moved to the Rotu tribe. Although their new tribe was welcoming, Sean and Rob had strained relations due to lack of work ethic. Fortunately, any danger was avoided due to Rotu winning immunity again. However, things changed with Maraamu won the Reward Challenge and raided the camp. This would cripple the tribe for the Immunity Challenge, Distress Signal as they lost many of the materials that could used for the signal. During the process of making the signal, John Carroll approached Sean about voting out Gabriel Cade. Sean felt this was a mistake and he and Rob decided to get Gabe to flip. However, Gabe's answer at Tribal Council caused the tribe to turn on him. The day after, Rob and Sean talked about how to survive and realize that Vee was distancing herself from them. At the Reward Challenge, Rotu was initially declared the winners. However, Maraamu protested the win and was given the win to due mistakes made by Rotu. Sean completed in the immunity and won, keeping him off the chopping block.
On Day 19, Rotu received Tree Mail asking for a representative. Rob volunteered because of his own reasons. Sean became annoyed with everyone pretending things are like family when they are not and points out that "good luck everyone" means good luck Sean. Kathy agreed to align with Sean and Vecepia to take down the Rotu Four. Paschal and Neleh didn't want to join Sean. At the Immunity Challenge, Sean was the first person knocked out. However, the challenge caused Paschal and Neleh to open their eyes being disgusted with the Rotu Four's behavior at the challenge and they, along with Zoe for reasons best known to herself vote out John.
After voting out John, Sean found himself in the majority along with Kathy, Neleh, Paschal, and Vecepia. This new alliance continued to vote out the members of the Rotu Four until they were all gone. With all of their common enemies eliminated, Sean's alliance was forced to turn on themselves. Sean and Vecepia targeted Neleh while Neleh and Paschal targeted Sean. Kathy was caught in the middle of the two factions. At Tribal Council, Kathy sided with Neleh and Paschal, eliminating Sean.
At Final Tribal Council, as a juror, Sean voted for his ally Vecepia to win.
