Personal Claim to Fame: My car was once towed and I was able to talk the owner of the towing company into returning it for free. I have become a local legend.
Inspiration in Life: Neil Patrick Harris. Have you seen that man do a toe touch? Quite inspiring.
Hobbies: Surfing and adventure travel. I love getting to know foreign cultures and flipping strangers into amigos. Also, I think sarcasm should qualify as a hobby; it is an underrated art.

Survivor: PhilippinesEdit

Dawson was a member of the Kalabaw tribe consisting of herself, Dana Lambert, Katie Hanson, Jeff Kent, Carter Williams, and returning player Jonathan Penner. Within the first three days, she was the only Kalabaw member who was aware of Kent's past as a baseball player, but kept it to herself. As Kalabaw successfully won 4 consecutive Immunity Challenges, Dawson did not have to strategize for several Tribal Councils, but did form an alliance with Lambert and Hanson when the guys of their tribe (Penner, Williams, and Kent) formed one of their own. On Day 11, the tribe gained a new member, Denise Stapley, but Dawson's alliance suffered a devastating blow as they lost Lambert, who pulled herself out of the game when she was too sick to continue. At the following Immunity Challenge, Kalabaw lost, with much of the blame going on Dawson and Hanson (Hanson was blamed for lagging the tribe at the beginning, and Penner personally blamed Dawson for messing up on the puzzle). While the tribe was sitting in their shelter, Dawson began making several references to baseball in order to mess with Kent's head, causing him to want her out that much more over Hanson as he realized Dawson could potentially hurt the chemistry he had with their tribe. At Tribal Council, Dawson was eliminated by an unanimous 5-1 vote. At a loss for words, she could only say "wow", but hugged Jeff Probst and gave him a kiss on the cheek on her way out.

TriviaEdit

• Dawson kissed Jeff Probst twice: when he snuffed her torch, and at the Reunion show, both times against his will.
  • Jeff Probst claimed that his wife was never jealous of Dawson kissing him. Probst even stated his wife was a "good sport" about it.
  • Dawson is the second contestant to kiss Probst before leaving Tribal Council, following Jan Gentry from Survivor: Thailand when she was voted out.
• Dawson is the first female contestant to go by her last name.
• In a pre-game interview, Jeff revealed he didn't think Dawson could win, because he thought she was crazy.
