Ready to Bite the Apple is the eleventh episode of Survivor: China.
After Frosti left Tribal Council area. Jeff said there was something to do. As this wouldn't involve the jury, they could leave. It was revealed that the reason the castaways wasn't going back to Camp immediately was because of an Reward Challenge for a trip to the Shaolin temple. The challenge was a quiz about facts about China. Peih-Gee ended up winning the challenge. She had to pick two people to join her. Peih-Gee picked her friend and ally Erik. For the second choice Peih-Gee picked Denise.
Amanda Kimmel noticed how much of a threat James Clement was becoming and devised a plan to blindside him. She gathered her allies Todd Herzog, Courtney Yates, and Denise Martin. As James was in possession of both Hidden Immunity Idols, Amanda also told outsider Peih-Gee Law to act as if she was going home in order to not raise suspicion. Peih-Gee, although grateful that she may be spared for another three days, planned with Erik to vote for Todd just in case James played one of his idols. At Tribal Council James didn't play his idol, causing his elimination in a 5-1-1 vote.
Challenge: Confucius Said
This is a quiz about China and its culture, and was held immediately after Tribal Council.
Reward: Overnight Shaolin Temple trip
Winner: Peih-Gee Law (shared with Denise Martin and Erik Huffman)
Challenge: Star Struck
First round: The contestants must throw three metal stars at a target shaped like three people, scoring points depending on where the star lands and sticks. Three highest scorers (more in a tie) move on. Final: Those three get one throw each at a new target ten feet farther away. Highest score wins.
Winner: Erik Huffman

| VOTED OFF:|
|“||(votes for James) I think you're a really amazing person. You played a wonderful game. I'm sorry, but I have to go with the majority.||”|
|“||(votes for Todd) Just a little insurance, I guess.||”|
|“||(votes for James) James, I really like you a lot. You're one of my best friends here. I wish you good luck. I'm sorry this has to be this way.||”|
|“||(votes for Peih-Gee) You've lost the win.||”|
|“||(votes for James) Let us hope this does not result in a screaming match back at camp.||”|
|“||(votes for James) Sorry, man. I have to go with the numbers. I hope it works out for you.||”|
|“||(votes for James) If this works, wow. If not, I'm scared for my life.||”|
|“||I have the two idols, I guess I should have played them. I'm kind of dissapointed in myself. I kind of caught a feeling, but I still didn't do it. Dealing with those people and trying to hold those Froot Loops together this whole damn time, it was killing me. You can't be angry with anybody. It's a game. I mean they played their best hand. They did what they were supposed to do. I rolled the dice too many times, and I just got caught off.||”|
Still in the Running
- This is the first episode where a player gets voted off while in possession of a playable Hidden Immunity Idol.
- Also, this is the only episode where a player gets voted off while in possession of two Hidden Immunity Idols.
- This is the only time in his three seasons that James Clement is eliminated from the game for a reason not involving an injury.
- With James' elimination, all four players who switched tribes have been eliminated.
- No two people in this episode's Tribal Council voted for each other.
- The episode title is said by Amanda, who feels it necessary to "bite the apple" (i.e. take a poison) and vote off James when she still has a chance.
