Reward: Grill, spices, lobsters, steaks; loot one item from losing tribe; piece of treasure map
Challenge: Shoulder the Load
Three members of each tribe will have a pole across their shoulders. Each round, weight (20 lbs.) will be added to that pole. The decision about which tribe member gets the weight will be made by the other tribe. When the weight becomes too much to bear, the tribe member will drop the pole and be out of the challenge. |“||(voting for Trish) You stabbed us all in the back. You have no idea how to play this game, but good try. (winks) See you later.||”|
|“||(voting for Rupert) Everybody's got a price, everybody's gotta pay, 'cause a million dollar man, always gets his way.||”|
|“||(voting for Trish) I've always said you were a snake from Day 1. Um, you can't be trusted, so, um, goodbye, adios.||”|
|“||(voting for Rupert) Rupert, l'm voting you out because l think you just have too much power with the other tribe, and it just seems to me that you are straddling both tribes.||”|
|“||(voting for Trish) I cannot believe that you turned on me so quickly. Everybody in my tribe tells me that you want me out, and you lie right to my face. I can't take that.||”|
|“||(voting for Trish) You know what? Game's over for you. It's my game now, so goodbye.||”|
|“||I didn't see this coming at all, obviously. But l always knew that anything can happen. And so, l really never took anything for granted. Hats off to the Drake tribe. I think you guys are all great. I hope one of the Drakes end up winning the million dollars. Good for you guys, you kept a secret and that's the beauty of this game. You just never know what's going to happen and when it's going to happen.||”|
Still in the Running
- When Jon was voting for Rupert, he made a reference to "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase by saying his most famous quote, "everybody's got a price, everybody's gotta pay, 'cause a million dollar man always gets his way." A year later, Rupert would win his million dollars for being the most popular castaway in Survivor: America's Tribal Council.
- The Immunity Challenge would be later used as a challenge in “The Strongest Man Alive” and a Reward/Immunity Challenge in “Survivalism”.
