Lisa Keiffer is a contestant from Survivor: Vanuatu.

ProfileEdit

Lisa Keiffer was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She considers herself a true Cajun, thanks to the French influence of her mother, who grew up on the Louisiana bayou.

Keiffer attended Louisiana State University for three years, where she was an LSU cheerleader for both football and basketball. She was a member of the Homecoming Court for two consecutive years and was elected Alpha Tau Omega's "Mardi Gras Queen." She participated in the 1981 National Collegiate Cheerleading Championship and cheered at the 1981 NCAA Final Four Basketball Tournament in Philadelphia. She then went on to finish college at Loyola University in New Orleans where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.

Keiffer was employed for 10 years as a pharmaceutical sales representative. She enjoys tennis, antique shopping, cooking and homemade soap making. She has also acted in community theater and directed dramas at her church, Trinity Evangelical Free, for the past ten years.

Born-again Christians, Keiffer and her husband, Thomas, currently live outside New Orleans on the " Northshore" in Mandeville, Louisiana, along with five of their six children (Nate, 22; Callie, 14, and Rachel, 13 ( Keiffer's stepdaughters); TK, 8; Charley, 7; and Nicholas, 5). They also have a goat (Waddles), a dog (Murray) and a miniature donkey (Dexter). Keiffer's birth date is May 3, 1960.

Survivor: VanuatuEdit

As a member of the all-female Yasur tribe, Lisa found herself siding with the younger women in a tribal division based on age. At their first Tribal Council, Lisa tried to vote out Leann Slaby with the rest of her alliance, but the older members of the tribe blindsided Dolly Neely who refused to commit to either alliance and was considered a swing-vote.

Lisa was in a comfortable position at the time of Yasur's second Tribal Council and the clash between young and old played out again. However, on this occasion, Lisa sided with the older women to vote of Mia Galeotalanza as she was blamed for disturbing the peace around camp. On Day 11, the two tribes were mixed up, with Yasur gaining Travis Sampson and Rory Freeman. At the women's first opportunity, they mustered in numbers and voted of Travis as he was caught communicating with his old tribe-mates at a challenge.

Yasur went on to lose a second consecutive Immunity Challenge and was sent to Tribal Council once again. Rory remained as the last man on Yasur and was fighting hard to keep himself in the game, pushing every button he could to "find a crack" in the women's alliance. Luckily for him, Ami Cusack flexed her alliance-controlling muscle as she picked up on a loose line from Lisa. Ami and Lisa were going to gather food and Lisa wanted Ami to show her where it was "just in case". Ami picked up on Lisa's slip and arranged her removal from the game, eliminating her 4-2.
