Survivor: Caramoan
As a fan of the show, Laura was placed on the Gota tribe. After the first Reward Challenge, she joined the Gota Alliance. Following Gota's first Immunity Challenge loss, Laura orchestrated the blindside of Allie Pohevitz due to her close relationship with Reynold Toepfer. She also spotted Reynold attempting to hide the Hidden Immunity Idol. At Tribal Council, she forced Reynold to show it to the tribe, putting his alliance in a precarious position.
At the Day 7 Immunity Challenge, Laura struggled with swimming to the point that Reynold actually had to aid her. This greatly contributed to Gota's loss, and Laura feared for her position in the tribe. In order to protect herself, Laura promised Reynold that she and Julia Landauer would join his alliance in voting Shamar Thomas out. However, she went back on her word and voted for Hope Driskill with the rest of the majority alliance.
Following Shamar's evacuation and Gota's next loss, Laura was targeted for being the weakest member of the tribe and a challenge liability. Thus, Matt Bischoff urged the rest of the Gota Alliance to vote out Laura as opposed to Eddie Fox or Reynold. While much of the tribe was hesitant in doing so, they ultimately followed Matt's advice, despite Laura's plan to vote out Reynold. As a result, Laura was unanimously voted out 6-0 (Reynold played his Idol, negating Laura's vote against him).
