- Parts of the castaways' audition tapes are aired, with special emphasis to the remaining 7 castaways.
- Fang's early struggles with food are shown, having to eat insects and "Gabon Pears".
- Most of Fang are afraid to go into the lake because Randy discovered the lake are infested with leeches. True enough, Matty goes into the lake and discovers a leech on his ankle.
- Corinne voices how she believes Sugar would do poorly on Exile Island.
- Matty gets the tribe to sing She's a Jolly Good Woman about his girlfriend. Susie reveals in a confessional that she thinks of Matty as her little brother. Randy shows his softer side by talking to Matty about the death of his dog.
- Bob makes various items to improve the Kota camp, including a bench and Hawaiian sling.
- While on their picnic, Corinne expresses her annoyance over not knowing what the foods like pâté and pascito are. Corinne laments in a confessional that she had to share amazing experiences like picnicking in Gabon with people she does not like.
- In her several days on Exile Island, Sugar shares what she does to alleviate boredom on Exile Island, including making a new dress from the floor mat.
- In the credits, Marcus, Bob, and Ace are shown walking on the pier and when skinny dipping at Kota camp. The women were impressed by the display to make wolf whistle sounds.
