I've Been Bamboozled! is the fifth episode of Survivor: All-Stars.
The three tribes are asked to build a raft. Saboga makes an elaborate raft. However, Mogo Mogo's raft is built with laziness, merely being around stick of bamboo, which Richard thinks will not be swift. At Chapera, the tribe constructs a more organized one, but Susan pees on it to christen it.
Jeff says that the first and second tribes to finish get the final clue to the final key to their treasure chest (which is now useless to Chapera, as they have rice). However, Jeff has an even bigger twist. The tribe that finishes last will be dissolved and absorbed by the other tribes. Saboga loses the Day 13 Reward Challenge and is dissolved. Chapera and Mogo Mogo absorb two members each of the dissolved tribes.
Mogo Mogo chooses Ethan first because they want him gone. Then Chapera chooses Rupert for his extreme likability. Mogo Mogo then tries to think of which Saboga girl Ethan didn't bond as strongly with, so they choose Jerri, leaving Jenna to go to Chapera.
The first thing Mogo Mogo does in the morning is look for final key. They do find it. Unfortunately, the rice is rotten, so they still need fish.
Ethan decides to go spearfishing, and comes back with a fish, to Richard's jealousy. Later on, Richard dives down, and comes back with two large fish, though Ethan never intended to step on his toes.
During the challenge, it is neck and neck between Chapera and Mogo Mogo, during which Richard gets naked and rubs up against Susan. Strategy comes in when all of Chapera jumps off so Rob can run the course, because he does best at balance. Chapera ends up winning, and Mogo Mogo has to vote someone out.
Heading back, Chapera celebrates their victory and Susan admits she wants Richard to be voted out for what he did to her.
Colby then talks to Ethan in the woods, and proposes Richard's blindside. Colby says that Richard thinks he is going, but he will save him if he votes for Richard. Ethan accepts the offer, because that way he at least gets a 50-50 shot. Colby then talks to Lex about it, and he agrees, so they have three people of seven in the deal.
Colby then approaches his rival Jerri to get the needed fourth vote to get rid of Richard, however she feels that it doesn't make sense to do that, as Colby "screwed her over" last time she played.
Jerri wants to side with Richard and tries to get the other girls' approval, but Shii Ann and Kathy are still conflicted. She then tells Richard about the deal to vote him off and he knows the only way that could happen was Ethan, Lex, and Colby. In a confessional, he explains his counter strategy: form an alliance with the girls to vote out the three guys plotting his doom.
Jerri then tells Richard he has her vote 100% if Colby goes first, to which Richard agrees, and Kathy finds herself in the middle.
At Tribal Council, Colby, Ethan, and Lex vote for Richard, and Richard votes for Colby. Shii Ann, Jerri, and Kathy ultimately side with the guys, and Richard is voted out 6-1, but not before yelling "I've been bamboozled!" much to the amusement of his tribe mates and Jeff. After Jeff snuffs his torch, Richard dances as he leaves.
Challenge: Shipwrecked Raft Rescue
Reward: Fishing spear, hooks and mask.
Additional Stipulation: If Mogo Mogo and/or Saboga finishes first or second, they would get the final clue to their rice box. On the other hand, the tribe that finishes last will be dissolved, with its remaining members to be absorbed by the other two tribes.

|“||(voting for Colby) It does come down to this. You really could have trusted me. I was-- I was on your side. I know that's hard to believe, but it's true.||”|
|“||(voting for Richard) Hatch, you're a hell of a player, and you almost had me convinced I can trust you. But my gut told me not to. I'm not going to. Best of luck.||”|
|“||Oops! (laughs) So much for what I thought. I'm gone. How much fun is Survivor? Yeah, I was blown out of the water today and didn't even know it. I've never had my torch snuffed. I've never had it put out, and here I am, I'm gone. I'm gone. Oh, fifth out of the game. I wanted the check again. Damn.||”|
Still in the Running
- The Mogo Mogo tribe members already had their torches before heading to their first Tribal Council. While Ethan and Jerri already had theirs when they were still members of Saboga, the original Mogo Mogo members got their torches from Tree Mail. But a deleted scene from “Shark Attack”, it was revealed that Mogo Mogo went to Tribal Council, lit their torches and laid down Jenna M.'s.
- The Immunity Challenge was a throwback of the Reward Challenge in “Family Values”.
- This marks the first time Shii Ann Huang has appeared at Tribal Council, but not received any votes.
- After Richard left all the male returnees from Borneo have been voted out.
- All the male contestants from Survivor Borneo have now been voted out of the game.
- The episode title was said by Richard Hatch after he got voted out.
