Voting Confessionals

James did not give a confessional

(votes for Eliza) Eliza I think you're a great girl you kind of just played a bad social game this time but I really respect you as a person, good luck with everything.

(votes for Eliza) You spoke out of both sides of your mouth one too many times. You're a really sweet girl but...not credible.

(votes for Eliza) I'm voting for Eliza. Jason, if you want to try and take on Ozzy by yourself; go ahead, you're digging your own grave. That's a losing hand. Eliza I can't trust you and luckily this vote coincides with my conscience as well as my strategy tonight. See you later.

(votes for Eliza) Liza, Liza, Liza... You can't have seven cards in a game over five card draw. No one will ever believe you. See you when I get out.

(votes for Eliza) I think the reasons are obvious and, yeah, the reasons are pretty obvious.

(votes for Eliza) Sorry lady, it's not personal I just couldn't trust you in this game.

(votes for Ozzy) They're idiots if they don't get rid of you as soon as they possibly can. I hope something miraculous happens with this stick and you get voted out and not me.

(votes for Ozzy) Tonight, my vote is for Ozzy. You're the strongest competitor in the game and hopefully what I gave Eliza is the real Hidden Immunity Idol and you're going home tonight. I can't wait to see the look on your face if it is you.

(votes for Eliza) It was your bad luck to pick the wrong girl to mess with. Sorry to see you go but hope you learn from your mistakes the second time around.

Final Words

Well, I think I did everything I could do in this game. I think I went out with a bang, played a fake Hidden Immunity Idol. I can't really believe that Jason thought that stick was the real Hidden Immunity Idol but I had to play it anyhow. I applaud Ozzy for having the real one and hopefully now, people can do something about it. Too bad that Immunity Idol wasn't real because we would've shocked them.

Behind the Scenes

Mario Lanza, the writer of The Funny 115, posted a commentary from Eliza Orlins regarding her discovery of the fake idol. As she approached the bag where Jason Siska had stashed it, several cameramen ran up to her. Startled, she paused, asked if they were there for her, and when they gave the affirmative, she continued on to find the fake idol. According to her, the cameramen had all been threatened with losing their jobs if they failed to catch Eliza's first reaction to the fake idol on film.[2]

Life at Ponderosa

Eliza arrives at Ponderosa and is overwhelmed by the amenities available to her. Her post-game medical shows that she lost 11 lbs. after 24 days. Eliza wonders what the remaining contestants will do now with Ozzy's Hidden Immunity Idol out in the open.

Three days later (Day 27), Eliza receives a message from the Ponderosa Tree Mail telling her that Tribal Council looms, and someone will join her as the second member of the jury. Before heading to Tribal Council, Eliza finds it hard to dress up, and undergoes several wardrobe changes.[3][4]

  • After this episode, Eliza Orlins became the first castaway to live at Ponderosa.
  • With Eliza being voted off this episode, all former contestants from Survivor: Vanuatu have been voted off.
  • The episode title was said by Parvati Shallow.
