Gouge My Eyes Out is the penultimate episode of Survivor: Philippines.
With Malcolm winning immunity, the final four alliance decides to get rid of the last outsider Abi.
Contestants must race over a slide into the ocean to retrieve five rings. Once they return, they must toss the rings onto five poles, one for each ring. The first person to do so wins the reward.
Reward: The winner (with two other contestants to accompany them) gets a boat ride in the Philippine ocean, pizza and soft drinks they could eat while in the ride, and an opportunity to swim with whale sharks.
Winner: Michael Skupin (shared with Lisa Whelchel and Malcolm Freberg)
Challenge: One Track Mind
At the start, each contestant would use two planks to cross a rope bridge, where they will collect two puzzle pieces along the way. If a contestant falls, they must start again. After crossing the bridge they would climb down a ladder and assemble a ball puzzle. Then when the puzzle is completed, each castaway would pull out a pin, releasing a ball into the maze that was earlier assembled. Then the contestant would guide the ball through the maze, avoiding trap holes. The first contestant to guide their ball through the maze safely into the finish spot would win immunity.
Winner: Malcolm Freberg

|“||(voting for Denise) You're patronizing, judgmental, you're just not a good person. I really don't like you.||”|
|“||(voting for Abi-Maria) Abi, if this vote doesn't go as planned, there is something seriously wrong in the universe.||”|
|“||Unfortunately, things didn't go my way. After the merge, I was targeted as the crazy Latina. And sometimes I come off really direct and straight to the point, but that's the type of person that I am. I don't beat around the bush, I just say it as it is. Like it or hate me, and I guess it bit me on my big Brazilian ass.||”|

Behind the ScenesEdit
Life at PonderosaEdit
Abi-Maria arrives at Ponderosa, and is welcomed by the other jurors, except RC, but the latter still harbor ill feelings toward her after their botched partnership in the game. After finally hearing RC's explanation as to how the idol clue somehow landed in her bag, Abi makes an apology, but RC remains miffed. In her post-game medical, it is revealed that Abi lost 13.1 lbs, dropping her to 110.08 lbs. Over dinner, Abi catches up with her fellow jurors.
The next day, Abi continues to seek RC's forgiveness, only to be harshly dismissed. Pete and Carter comfort Abi and guarantee her that RC is still at the heat of the moment and she would forgive her eventually.
Most of the jurors predict that either tribal lines between Matsing and Tandang will hold strong or Malcolm will turn on Denise.
- This episode aired on 12/12/12, and prior to the episode, 12 people had been voted out at Tribal Council.
- With this episode, this is the third season in a row where someone holds onto a Hidden Immunity Idol during the Day 36 Tribal Council and not play it.
- With Abi's elimination, this episode marks the first time since prior to Dana's elimination that Tandang was tied for most original tribe-mates remaining in the game.
