Jesta Hillmann is a contestant from Koh-Lanta: L'Île au Trésor.

Profile[]

Profile retrieved from tf1.fr[1]

Prénom: Jesta
Métier: Etudiante en Ressources Humaines

24 ans, Haute-Garonne (31)

Koh-Lanta[]

Jesta was selected by Jean-Luc Duboscq to be a part of the Naga tribe. Early on, Jesta became close with Jérémy Raffin, but the two isolated themselves from their tribemates often. With this earning them the ire of their tribemates, the pair, especially Jesta, found themselves in the hot seat throughout the tribal phase. Fortunately, the Naga tribe only attended Tribal Council twice before the merge and Jesta was able to hide behind other targets to survive.

When the tribes merged, the second Naga tribe members took control of the game immediately and voted out Lau Émilien at the merged tribe's first Tribal Council. However, after Benoît Assadi used his newly found Golden Ring to "idol out" Béryl Libault de la Chevasnerie at the Final Twelve and Jesta and Jérémy joined the second Sambor tribe members in blindsiding Alexandra Pharisien at the Final Eleven, the other second Naga tribe members lost their majority. With Jesta and Jérémy now finding themselves in the middle of two alliances, the pair cast burn votes against Julie Navarro-Camilleri and Freddy Bolzer, respectively, at the Final Ten Tribal Council. Yannick Delalleau, a second Naga tribe member, was the contestant eliminated at said Tribal Council and, in spite of their minimal agency, Jesta and Jérémy entered a Final Four pact with Benoît and Candice Boisson.

Going into the following cycle, it seemed that Freddy or Ludivine Wiart would be the next contestant voted out. However, Jérémy had lost his patience with Jesta for her lack of activity around camp and Jesta, in turn, didn't approach Jérémy as she disliked his attitude. With the long partnership between Jesta and Jérémy coming to an end, Jérémy became the next person voted out instead as the second Sambor tribe members felt that he had played a somewhat selfish game up until that point and were willing to move forward with Jesta without him. Even though Jesta still received some votes from people going forward, her effective allegiance towards Benoît and Candice enabled her to make the Final Five. Having made it to the finale, Jesta was taken by Benoît to the Final Two instead of Freddy after Benoît won the Perch challenge.

At the Final Tribal Council, Jesta was generally criticized for her earlier social gameplay and a number of jurors felt that she did not deserve her place in the Final Two. Ultimately, this resulted in her losing to Benoît in a unanimous 10-0 jury vote.

Runner-Up, Day 42

^1 In Episode 8, Benoît was protected by the Golden Ring, therefore Jesta's vote against him was negated.
^2 In Episode 9, Jesta could not compete in the Immunity Challenge due to injury, therefore she was immune and could not cast a vote at Tribal Council.
^3 This vote was Béryl's black vote, cast after her elimination in Episode 8. It did not count because Jesta was immune from the vote.

^4 In Episode 12, the vote ended with a 4-4 tie between Freddy and Stéphane, forcing a revote. Jesta did not change her vote on the revote.
^5 This extra vote was cast against Jesta after she finished last in the Immunity Challenge in Episode 12.
