Cris Bolado is a contestant from Survivor Philippines: Palau. He is a former professional basketball player, playing in the Philippine Basketball Association.

"I'm a Survivor because I wanted to get back what was lost to me before, especially money. It's sad but I know there will be hope that would be come for me to build again all my dreams.", Cris said in English.

Towering at 6 feet 6 inches, Cris Bolado is the biggest among the second batch of Castaways. A familiar face on the hardcourt, the former Philippine Basketball Association player retired from professional basketball in 2003 because of an injury. Since then, he has kept himself busy coaching in basketball clinics all over the country.Basketball has instilled in Cris the value of discipline and the dedication to give his all in the game. "Even in Survivor (Philippines), you have to give 110 percent to the game. Basketball is different because there many different challenges and you won't know what would happen but you what have to give it your all", Cris said in English. But it was Cris' shattered hoop dreams that motivated him to play the game of survival. "I want to start again and I think this is the way so I joined Survivor: Palau (Philippines)", he concluded in English.

  • Cris owned and operated Inasal Nation, an inasal restaurant in Phnom Penh near Russian Market as of 2016.
  • He passed away during September 17, 2017 in Phnom Penh due to a motorcycle accident.
