The Survivor Wiki Twitter/X account received reports of a Survivor contestant being marked as the first player to have ADHD in their wiki article's trivia section. It is categorically false, as a former contestant was diagnosed with ADHD, but decided not to make it a part of their narrative.
Unless the players explicitly admitted their gender preference, being neurodivergent, or any analogous information about themselves, such sensitive information will not be allowed on Survivor Wiki unless the person (or someone of equal credibility and with consent from the person concerned) deliberately admitted to it on the show, in interviews, social media posts, or to Survivor Wiki itself.
There was actually a precedent during the original run of Millennials vs. Gen X, where Zeke, who was not out as a transgender person at the time (take note that this information was only made public in Game Changes, the season after Millennials vs Gen X; albeit unceremoniously). Citing yearbook photos, clippings from Zeke's school paper, editors added this in Zeke's article's trivia section. The next day, a Fandom staff member by the name of Mira Laime took all related edits down, explaining that "someone" requested to have those information deleted, the identity of the guy was never revealed. One can guess that the party that made the request was either CBS or Zeke himself. Given that Zeke was unceremoniously outed caused outrage in social media, I understood the gravity of the situation.
Edit in question: https://survivor.fandom.com/wiki/Zeke_Smith?direction=prev&oldid=420914
Mira Laime's Explanation: https://survivor.fandom.com/wiki/Message_Wall:Mira_Laime?threadId=4400000000000005066#4400000000000011339
We at Survivor Wiki should be careful not to let a similar incident happen again. Editors who will make negligent edits of this nature will be dealt with accordingly.
FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE.
Thank you.
Hello!
As you might have noticed, there are articles that have subpages, namely galleries, game mechanics, and contestants. Subpages are created to reduce page size by dissecting applicable articles into meaningful parts.
Some articles may have some pictures to better depict the highlights of episode (for episode articles) or the players' time in the game (for castaway articles). Gallery subpages however are meant to bear most, if not all, available and relevant press photos.
Some articles pertaining to game mechanics have subpages because their history is too extensive that putting them into one article will be very exhausting for the common reader to scroll down, especially if the game mechanic is being used across multiple versions and seasons. Have you seen the Hidden Immunity Idol article and how ridiculously long it is?
Articles of 2-time returning players times need not to have subpages. However, castaways who have played 3 or more times are required to have subpages for every season they competed in to decongest their main article. Sections depicting the person's time on each season may still have blurbs, but should be abridged versions of the information in the subpages. As an example, please refer to Parvati Shallow's article.
If you have suggestions for article subpages, please let us know in the comments.
Thank you.

To accommodate the change from "Twitter" to "X", I've edited {{socmed}} in a way where you can use either, but I encourage that future edits should observe the use of "X" instead. However, all pages that carry the "Twitter" name need not be retroactively changed to "X".
The blue bird icon has been replaced by the current "X" logo.
For your information.
Thank you.
Hello, Ian here,
We would like to reiterate Survivor Wiki's Spoiler Policy. Just because the results of the tribe swap were deliberately spoiled in the preview (could be digitally recolored but whatever), doesn't mean it's fair to post or discuss them here before the actual episode of the swap airs.
In other words, don't be a @Lakadium637/@Lakadium8367/@Lakadium8637 (and yes, I will put Lakadium's h̶e̶a̶d̶ name on a pike forever as an example for audacious spoiling assholes so don't @ me).
Thank you.
Hey y'all, we're reaching out to you to settle a debate that the administrative team is having over Hannah's elimination classification.
We aren't sure whether to recognize it as a "quit" or not. There have been valid points made by both sides. I'll sumarize the major ones below:
FOR NON-QUITTER STATUS:
Hannah said that she would quit if someone else was voted out, implying that she considered her elimination a vote off at that time.
Hannah technically was verbally voted out by each member of her tribe before her exit.
Jeff Varner and Tori (both similar exits) are recognized as vote offs on their wiki pages instead of quits/eliminations.
Johnny Fairplay was considered a vote off on Micronesia.
FOR QUITTER STATUS:
Officially, her elimination is recognized as a "quit" by production in articles post-episode and by Probst himself in the "On Fire" podcast.
Post-show, Hannah appears to consider her exit a quit on social media and in interviews.
In the verbal eliminations of Jeff Varner and Tori, both wanted to stay in the game, with the call for the vote to be cast verbally made by Probst due to the very specific circumstances of the situation.
Osten's verbal elimination under similar circumstances in Pearl Islands is recognized as a quit by both production and the Survivor Wiki. At Tribal Councils like Fairplay's, a formal vote was still held.
-----
Let us know what you think!
Once the discussions board has spoken, the classification of Hannah's elimination will be acknowledged accordingly.
Hey there, Miller here! The Wiki Representative for this community, here to let you know that September 15-October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month in the US. Various happenings are occurring to celebrate! One of which is the Makers Series, where we'll highlight the people behind the scenes of the IPs we love, who haven't had their stories told before. We'd love to hear from you too! Share the IPs that inspire you and the Hispanic creators who fuel your passion! Want to learn more? Click here for the full blog post to join in the month long celebration with Fandom! You can also join in the celebration by creating a blog post to commemorate the month! We'd love to see them and encourage you to share with us on how your wiki is celebrating!
Due to insistent public demand, Tiktok is finally added in the Social Media template. It works similarly as the first social media links made available. The first articles with a Tiktok link are Lauren Beck's and Boston Rob's.
Make no mistake, the social media policy is still active, therefore any personality whose links are withheld will still not be included in their profile.

Attention @RubyStretch @Master Hydraffe @Tweazel @RBWarrior @KryptoBit @Iightpink1 @Matpeng @Lucki08:
Please be aware of the following agreements in the aforesaid group chats:
Strict observance of the non-spoiler and social media policies.
Since the social media policy negative list (list of Survivor personalities whose social media links will not be posted anywhere on the wiki) is only accessible through Messenger and Discord, you may request access in private through the wiki's email account survivorwiki@yahoo.com. I trust that the list will not be made public. Making the list public without my permission will result to an automatic demotion and possibly a ban due to breach of trust.
Create article subpages for 3-time and above returning players (Rob and Sandra's articles have accommodated this change).
Zero-tolerance for spoilers and vandals (perma-ban on the spot).
Non-use of watermarked, low quality images and screenshots that were personally taken (the latter two may ONLY be used if there really are no available images).
Observance of the wiki's Manual of Style (MoS).
That is all. Thank you.
Since a new season is just around the corner, I'd like to remind you all that the wiki has a strict spoiler policy that we uphold. As rumors float around concerning the upcoming season, it is important to remember not to discuss any of them here. Potential spoilers about the cast, tribe divisions, twists, etc. are not welcome on the wiki unless they are officially confirmed by CBS. Additionally, I'd like to remind you that Inside Survivor is a spoiler site and is prohibited from being linked anywhere here.
For more about what spoilers can/can't be posted, read our Spoiler Policy here.

In light on recent events, notably Nick Wilson supporting transphobic legislation in his capacity as a Kentucky representative, and trolls vandalizing the wiki in support of the former, this is to inform everyone that Survivor Wiki has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for extremist/hateful people and views. Any form of support, coddling and condoning of such beliefs will be deleted immediately, and the accounts related to these posts blocked indefinitely.
And as a message to assholes who will attempt to do so anyway (emphasis on "assholes" to get the point across), don't get me started with your misguided take on FrEeDoM oF SpEeCh.
When it comes to discussing sensitive topics, Survivor Wiki is a safe space. We don't censor topics, just bigots.
Thank you.
