Since not very many people are talking about who they want on Survivor: Second Chance, I have decided to create one of my own:

    WOMEN:

Kelly Wiglesworth- She was a great person for someone in the first season. I would love to see how her game changes with the introduction of a Hidden Immunity Idol and if she will be the leader of an alliance unlike in Borneo when Hatch was.

Teresa Cooper - I loved her in Africa even though I haven't been avidly watching that season. She was at the bottom of the tribe going into the merge, so who knows if she will dominate or will be targeted for her age and strategic powers.

Peih-Gee Law - When Second Chance voting started, there was no doubt in my mind that she would get my votes. She was such a great competi…

Well, my prediction about the vote this week was wrong, but I didn't count on Dan wasting his extra vote on Mama C. I still can't believe that Dan, Rodney, and Will didn't think about the possibility of Carolyn having a hidden idol. They even discussed the possibility of Carolyn having an idol. Why not play it safe and vote for Sierra? I have a hunch that Rodney, Will, and Sierra planned to eventually get rid of Dan all along. If they had all made it to the final four, and Dan didn't get immunity, he would have been gone. I don't think Dan ever had a chance to win the million dollars, given that the majority of the jury members would rather vote for anyone else except Will. As it is going to be a 3 person final, the best Dan could have got…

Well, I got the prediction wrong this week. It was Dan, not Rodney going home. I'm not sure why, except maybe it was a bit of payback from Mike, combined with Mama C not wanting to betray her alliance with Rodney and Will. I'm glad Dan is gone, though. He was an a**, and he didn't need to be. I can't understand why he hated Mike so much. His vitriol for Mike seemed unjustified. All the guy did was fake him out at the auction. Big Deal! Mike eventually kept to the agreement, and Dan ended up with the advantage. So what's Dan's problem? Is it something we didn't get to see on the show? Maybe we'll learn more at the reunion. As for Dan's advantage, boy did he waste it, or what? Why did Dan, Rodney, and Will target Carolyn at all? There was a …

It's down to six, and the alliance has started turning on itself. It's been pretty predictable so far, and it could continue to be depending on who wins immunity and/or has a hidden idol. Plus, Dan's extra vote is still in play. So here are the scenarios for the next episode:

    1. Mike wins immunity. Carolyn plays her hidden idol, and Rodney is voted out.
    2. Carolyn wins immunity, but Mike finds a hidden immunity idol. He plays it at tribal, and votes for Rodney.
    3. Rodney wins immunity, Mike finds a hidden idol. Mike and Carolyn play their hidden idols at tribal council. Sierra is voted out.
    4. Rodney wins immunity, Mike uses a hidden idol and votes for Carolyn, who is voted out.
    5. Mike does not have immunity and is voted out.
    6. The next member of the jury will …

Another predictable tribal vote results in Tyler going bye-bye, and the former pro football player is the newest member of the jury.

I'm starting to get the sinking feeling that we could be looking at a Dan, Will, Rodney final. My only hope that this is not true is that Mike and Carolyn are in the second chance voting pool, which surely the Survivor producers wouldn't do if neither of them won because it is a huge spoiler. I can't imagine that either of them would lose to someone else in the final. So they must be trying to fake us out by putting both of them in the voting pool.

It looks like Dan is pinning his hopes of winning on going to the finals with Will, which is the only smart thing Dan has done this whole time. However, if it's a 3 …

Final seven is tonight... down to six after, who is going home?

-I feel like Carolyn and Will have a few more tribals left

-Sierra never really strategizes, and Dan is weak in challenges so they are safe

-Tyler has really been noticed as a tough player in challenges, Mike has been a target for the Escameca Alliance since Day 25 (I believe?) and has one the last 2 immunity challenges.

-And then there is Rodney; who is one of the weak strategizers and even though he is in the Escameca Alliance he could get blindsided.

I think it will be Rodney because in promos it said he wanted to be on the jury (asking to be voted out), and his game is getting worse.

Something that I've wondered about is what ever happened to the "special" hidden idol that Tony Vlachos found in Survivor: Cagayan? Have they used it and never been found or had a clue given about it or did they decide not to use the concept again or what?

    1. Sierra: She is playing both sides and is seemingly safe for the week.
    2. Carolyn: No one seems to be gunning for her, and while the Super Six alliance crumbles, she is just fighting her way to the jury against Dan and Will.
    3. Will: While he has ticked off people, with Shirin gone and Rodney, Tyler, Dan, and Mike locked in full Survivor Warfare, he is safe for the week.
    4. Dan: Though Dan is an idiot, everyone will be keeping him around for the jury. I hope to see him pass through.
    5. Tyler: He should be #6, but based on the preview, Rodney is putting himself in a tough spot.
    6. Rodney: Though he wants out, the Super Six would be stupid to take out Mike if he loses.
    7. Mike: Sorry, Mike. You fought hard, but it ends here.

Here is my prediction for the jury vote:

Based on what two people (Jenn and Dan) have said in their exit interviews, it appears that Rodney makes it to the jury vote. I don't think he wins, but he's definitely 2nd. Although, why isn't Rodney in the second chance contestant pool? Did he not want to spend another 39 days "stahvin", or does he actually win this season?

My gut feeling is that Mike keeps winning immunity and wins it all with votes from Hali, Joe, Jenn, Shirin, and Carolyn (if she's on the jury). If Carolyn isn't on the jury, I think Tyler votes for either Mike or Carolyn, and Dan votes for Rodney, Will, or Sierra, giving Mike the split decision.

If Mike is sent to the jury, Rodney will probably win. The whole "Rodney doesn't get a…

Here's who I think each of the contestants would choose to go to the jury vote with.

    1. Mike - Dan and Sierra, despite them flipping on him. If Mike is in the final, he beats everyone unanimously, except Tyler. So, it doesn't really matter who he's in the final with, but if he has to choose, he's picking his blue collar tribemates.
    2. Tyler - Carolyn and Will. He'd take Rodney and/or Sierra if he had too, but only if Carolyn and Will are voted out.
    3. Carolyn - Will and Rodney.
    4. Rodney - Will and anybody but Tyler and Mike.
    5. Dan - Will and Sierra. They are the only two he can beat.
    6. Sierra - Will and Dan. They are the only two she can beat.
    7. Will - Doesn't care who he goes to the final with, just as long as he goes, because he's getting third place money no m…

    1. Dan and Mike patch things up and agree to vote for Tyler.
    2. They convince Sierra to vote with them.
    3. The vote is a tie, and either Tyler loses the revote, or it goes to a rock draw.
    4. If Tyler wins the immunity challenge, Will or Rodney is the next most likely person to go home.
    5. If it goes to a rock draw, it will involve Carolyn, Sierra or Dan, and Will or Rodney.
    6. It would be great if Carolyn were to lose the rock draw with an idol in her pocket, and as she has the most to lose at a rock draw, I predict she will switch her vote at the revote in order to avoid a rock draw.
    7. The person going home will be Tyler, Rodney, or Will.

Well, surprise, surprise, Mike tried to bluff. It would have been interesting to see what happened if he had given Shirin the idol. I'm thinking Dan would be gone, which he deserves, and now he knows that when push comes to shove, he's gone. It's too bad Dan didn't know that Tyler had stolen his bag, because I'm positive Dan would have voted for Tyler and used his extra vote to make sure Tyler was gone. Now Dan's extra vote is a moot point because even with it, he doesn't have the votes to save himself. Ditto for Sierra. The funny part is Dan and Sierra think they are acting in their best interests, but they couldn't be more wrong. I think this strategic mistake ranks right up there with Erik giving away immunity. Dan and Sierra are just c…

Survivor has basically devolved into a series of obstacle course challenges and simple puzzles that schoolchildren could solve, being performed by a bunch of self-centered liars. The show's definition of a survivor is someone who is really good at deceiving other people. In addition, this show rewards people for being incompetent/lazy and mistreating other people. So many people have made it to the jury vote because they rode coattails or were a good goat, and the jury vote is often reduced to a choice between the lesser of two (or three) evils. They should change the tagline for this show to "Outdeceive , Outbetray, Outgoat". If this show is going to "survive" much longer, I think it needs to change the rules so that people can't get to t…

Is it just me, or are this season's contestants the most well fed looking group after 30 days in the 15 year history of the show? I know Dan, Will, and Shirin came to the show packing some extra pounds, but none of them looks like they've missed a meal the whole time. Rodney and Tyler look just as buff as they did on day one. Carolyn and Mike don't look any thinner, and Sierra actually looks like she's gained weight. What's up with that? Have there just been better food rewards this year, or are the producers making a conscious effort to keep the contestants looking fat and happy? Throughout the years of watching this show, the obvious physical changes that the contestants' bodies went through was probably the only thing that made this "re…

Who do you think probably will be the final 2 or 3 in Survivor: Worlds Apart? And who do you think has the best chance of winning as far as we've seen and who has the worst chance? Personally, I think if they make it that far, either Tyler or Mike has the best chances of winning and I hope to god that either Will doesn't make it to the final 2/3 or if he does, that he doesn't win it.

TBH, I think what happened to them was really unfair (don't judge me, I just watched it today xD). My question is, do you think the schoolyard pick should have been handled that way? And do you think Wanda and John should be allowed back? I heard they were meant to be in Guatemala but they chose Bobby and Steph instead. I really want to see John and Wanda compete, even though Wanda might go first. :P

    What are your thoughts?

I personally thought it was really unfair and would be so pissed if it happened to me.

It never ceases to amaze me how many survivor contestants focus on making it to the final jury vote, but pay no attention to winning the vote. It's almost as if they're only playing to come in 2nd or 3rd. It is a guaranteed payday if you make it to the final, but it's not very admirable to just do whatever it takes to make sure you're the one everyone wants to take to the jury vote with them. I suspect this is what has driven Dan and Will's behavior this season. They're not good enough to outwit and outplay everyone, so they're counting on the outlast part of the equation. And to do that, you either have to ride the coattails of an Alpha Male ala Sierra, be a backstabbing liar, or be a complete a-hole. Sierra has the coattail rider slot al…

Well, Bring the Popcorn was quite an eventful show. Rodney got called out on his secret alliance, and looked like an idiot trying to deny it. Shirin got yelled at, again, this time by Will. Jenn got voted off, as predicted. Dan got the two vote advantage at auction, which Tyler is going to find out about and share with his alliance next week. I hate people who go through other people's bags, and hope Dan uses his advantage to send Tyler packing. But I digress. Mike suddenly found himself surrounded by flippers, and had to find comfort in the arms of Shirin. Carolyn, Tyler, and Sierra were pretty much MIA throughout the episode. So, here are my thoughts on where the show goes next episode.

    1. Mike continues leaning on Dan to stick with him, whi…

Well, first of all, giving myself a pat on the back for predicting Jenn's departure. Even with the outing of Rodney's secret alliance, getting rid of Jenn needed to happen in order to tie up loose ends. But now, it is game on. Is it just me, or was that the most confusing Survivor Auction ever? I can't wait for it to be available to stream online, because I need to watch it again. Now that Jenn is gone, I have no one to root for, but I kind of feel sorry for Shirin now that she's been picked on by both Will and Dan. I don't see how Shirin makes it past Week 11 without immunity, unless the alliances switch yet again, and Rodney's alliance becomes the target of Mike, Dan, Sierra, and Shirin, with Dan using his double vote. After Tyler invade…

Here are some possibilities for the outcome of the vote in Episode 10:

    1. Jenn is voted out, which is going to happen if she doesn't have immunity, unless Rodney does something crazy (not impossible).
    2. Jenn has individual immunity, forcing the 8 person BC alliance to fracture one episode early. If this is the case, look for Rodney to make an early move on Mike either by convincing Jenn to vote with him, or by using the double vote from the auction.
    3. If Rodney tries to vote Mike off, but Mike uses his idol, then whoever Mike's alliance votes for will go home. It could be Rodney or Will, as I doubt Mike would turn on Tyler or Carolyn at this point, because turning on one of them means losing both of them (which he already has, apparently, but Mike d…
