Ben Browning is a transplanted country boy helping to run some of the most successful bars and restaurants in Los Angeles. A bar manager, Ben is often seen with a girl on each arm and boldly claims he's never been rejected. "I'm one of those people that just get lucky for some reason, if I want it, I do what I have to do to get it."

Growing up in Kirksville, Missouri, Ben's parents raised him with a strict set of morals and instilled in him a strong work ethic. His parents would always be there to whip Ben into shape whenever necessary.

Ben has worked hard for all he has in life and says "I don't like cry babies, I like people who work their asses off, like people from where I'm from." He is also quick to admit that the one thing he can't stand is "whiners and wimps."

When he is not hunting or fishing, Ben can probably be found on his motorcycle. Despite breaking his leg in a wreck in 2007, he is still an active rider and even part of a motorcycle club called "WhiskyBoys." Described by friends as "a big hillbilly who will be rich someday," Ben intends to leave his mark on the game of SURVIVOR.

Ben is single and currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif. His birth date is August 28.[1]

Ben started the game on the yellow Foa Foa  tribe. Initially he made an alliance with Russell Hantz. Ben was able to start the fire at the Foa Foa camp, stating multiple times that he was the only tribe member able to start a fire. At the first Immunity Challenge, Foa Foa lost. Russell convinced Ben to vote for Marisa Calihan because she was untrustworthy.

Ben's alliance with Russell further extended to an all males alliance within the tribe. At the Reward and Immunity Challenge Ben was determined to do what ever it took to win and after he found out it was a physical challenge he was convinced even more that Foa Foa could win. Unfortunately for Foa Foa, Ben's physicality at the challenge resulted in him being removed from the challenge. Ben was annoyed at being eliminated from the challenge, not thinking he did anything wrong. After Foa Foa lost the challenge and losing Mike Borassi who was pulled from the game, he got even more annoyed.

After a twist that resulted in a member of Galu being sent to the Foa Foa campsite until after Tribal Council, Yasmin Giles was sent to Foa Foa. Ben and Yasmin did not get along, which was made worse when Yasmin took Ben aside to talk to him about cheap shots and fair play. Ben started calling Yasmin names such as ghetto trash, which annoyed many of his tribemates, none more so than Jaison Robinson. Although a few tribemates were gunning for Ben to be eliminated, the tribe voted out weak link, Betsy Bolan.

Ben continued rubbing his tribe mates the wrong way, stating that he was the only one who was doing any work at camp and that if he was voted off his tribe would starve. Jaison started talking to his tribe mates about voting out Ben for his terrible attitude. After Foa Foa lost the Immunity Challenge the tribe had to decide whether to vote out Ashley Trainer, for her weakness, or Ben for his attitude. At Tribal Council, Ben sealed his fate by arguing with Jaison about his treatment of Yasmin and was subsequently voted out.

At the live Reunion Show, Ben and Yasmin made amends with Yasmin saying she forgave him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
