Beg, Barter, Steal is the first episode of Survivor: Pearl Islands.

Story

Day 1

16 castaways arrived in the Pearl Islands wearing only the clothes on their backs. Jeff threw everyone's shoes overboard, gave both tribes, Drake and Morgan, a sack of Panamanian currency, and sent them to buy survival essentials at a local fishing village. Morgan was desperately trying to find supplies, while Sandra gave Drake an edge, being able to speak Spanish with the locals. Both of the tribes used apparel for money. Morgan left their shoes unattended, so Rupert of Drake took advantage of that opportunity to buy goods for his tribe. Meanwhile, Morgan found some luck, as Osten traded in all his clothes (save his boxers) so he could buy goods for Morgan. After everyone was done buying goods, they traveled to their campsites.

On Night 1, Morgan had some troubles at their camp. They couldn't sleep, on account of rocks were falling from above, and crabs were biting them. Meanwhile, at the Drake camp, the tribe celebrated their home by drinking the Panamanian wine that they bought at the village, which made Jon incredibly drunk.

Day 2

As morning arrived on the Morgan camp, they found directions to a freshwater well on the map. While Lillian and Ryan S. filled their canteens, they ended up bonding.

Day 3

During the immunity challenge, various male members of Morgan, mainly Osten, stripped naked. However, Morgan did end up with a near-victory, but their cannon got stuck in the sand, allowing Drake to win. Nicole tried to vote out Tijuana, but Tijuana figured that she couldn't trust Nicole, which sealed her fate in a 7-1 vote.

Immunity

Challenge: Cannon Carry
Tribes must carry a makeshift cannon with detachable parts. They must navigate the cannon through an obstacle course. The first tribe to reach the finish line wins Immunity.

“	I knew going into it that my biggest weakness would be keeping my mouth shut. When I have an opinion about something I just can't keep it in. It doesn't surprise me that I am sitting here. Based on past experience, I knew I would be either the first person off or the one who won. Even with a million dollars at stake, I still had to say what I thought when I thought it and that's what did me in, in the end. I sorta shot myself in the foot by trying to make an alliance early on to get rid of someone who annoyed me. In hindsight, that wasn't the best way to play the game.	”

• Rupert stealing the Morgan tribe's shoes at the Panamanian village was voted as the Most Memorable Moment in Survivor: All-Stars' Survivor: America's Tribal Council.
