Kimberly Baylor Wilson[2] is a contestant from Survivor: San Juan del Sur.

Baylor is remembered for her seeming naïveté and for the occasional strategic indecisiveness that she and her mother Missy Payne displayed. However, she did manage to win an individual Immunity Challenge and lasted deep into the game thanks to her opportunistic gameplay. Ultimately, however, she was the victim of a high-profile blindside executed by eventual winner Natalie Anderson.

Survivor[]

Baylor competed on Survivor: San Juan del Sur with her mother, Missy Payne. When it was time to separate into tribes, Baylor received an orange buff and was placed on Coyopa. At the first Immunity Challenge, Hunahpu won because of Coyopa struggling with the puzzle. After the challenge, Nadiya Anderson gathered the women to vote out Dale Wentworth due to his age making him a challenge liability. Baylor was aligned with Josh Canfield and decided to vote with him. Josh's alliance targeted Nadiya due to her past on The Amazing Race. Baylor voted against Nadiya and the former Amazing Race contestant was the first person to be voted out of the season in a 5-3-1 vote, with Baylor getting the one vote.

On the way back to camp, Josh revealed to her that he voted against her, claiming that it was to conceal their alliance. Baylor wondered what the method to this madness was and wondered if she could trust him. At the next Immunity Challenge, Baylor faced off against her mom. After the hesitations wore off, Baylor won her match against her mom. However, Coyopa lost the challenge and her tribe was sent back to Tribal Council. Baylor was unknowingly a secondary target of a split vote because of Val Collins claiming to have two Hidden Immunity Idols. Val was annoyed with Baylor for flipping on the women and intended to blindside Baylor at Tribal Council. However, Josh switched his vote to Val as he believed that she and John Rocker were in an alliance. The vote tied 4-4 and Baylor was spared in the revote.

Baylor was very shaken by her close call at Tribal Council, opting not to rely on Josh anymore. Wes Nale won the Hero Duel for Coyopa and picked fishing gear for the tribe. Baylor attempted to form an alliance with Wes, Jaclyn Schultz, and Alec Christy to boot John Rocker for being negative. However, John was their most athletic member and caught fish. At the Immunity Challenge, Baylor was paired with Josh but lost both rounds they competed in. After Coyopa lost the challenge, Natalie Anderson starting loudly berated John about his infamous Sports Illustrated interview, leading to John yelling back. This pushed the tribe to vote out John over Baylor. After Tribal Council, Baylor felt good that she was still in the game. A few days later, Alec and Baylor had a minor squabble over Tree Mail. Coyopa was finally able to win an Immunity Challenge on Day 10, largely because of Drew Christy throwing the challenge.

On Day 11, Coyopa was feeling good about walking in first at the Hero Duel, Baylor was shocked to learn that Drew was voted out, having assumed that he was popular. Another shock came when it was announced that it was time to drop their buffs. After the tribe switch, Baylor and Missy ended up on Coyopa. Missy clashed with Dale when she was liberally cooking the carefully rationed rice. Coyopa lost the following Immunity Challenge very badly. Baylor and Missy appealed to Jaclyn and Jon Misch to vote out Dale and his daughter, Kelley Wentworth, painting the father-daughter pair as sneaky. The young couple sided with the mother-daughter pair and split the votes as a failsafe for the idol. Kelley was voted out in a 3-2-2 vote. At the Hero Duel, Baylor was selected to go up against Hunahpu's Reed Kelly for a Survivor barbecue. Baylor lost the duel, getting herself sent to Exile Island. Natalie volunteered to go to Exile Island with Baylor. During this time, Baylor shared the clue with Natalie. On Day 15, Coyopa was initially doing well at the Immunity Challenge but lost after struggling with the puzzle. Jon informed his alliance of Dale allegedly having found a Hidden Immunity Idol and offered to give it to him if he wasn't voted out. The alliance decided to once again do a split vote. Dale was voted out in a 3-2-1 vote.

After Tribal Council, Missy and Baylor explained to Keith Nale why they voted against him. Keith was still upset with the mother-daughter pair and planned to flip to his son Wes. The tribes merged and the brand new tribe, Huyopa, celebrated with a feast. Baylor and Missy sided with Natalie and her ally, Jeremy CollinsJulie McGee threw a wrench in everyone's plans after announcing she was quitting the game. At the next Reward Challenge, Baylor was teamed with Alec, Jaclyn, Jon, and Josh but lost. Josh attempted to get Baylor on his side, pointing out that he had previously saved her. However, this turned off Baylor, who likened it to blackmail. Baylor and Jaclyn also grew annoyed with Alec and Wes's perceived lack of gentleman-like behavior. After the Immunity Challenge, Baylor became Josh's new target. However, Baylor was spared from elimination because of Jaclyn convincing Jon to vote out Josh instead.

At the next Reward Challenge, Baylor was once again on the winning team. At the Immunity Challenge, Baylor managed to edge out Reed for the win. Baylor was shocked and impressed when she learned from Reed that Keith had the idol. Jon convinced Baylor and Missy to turn on Jeremy and the firefighter was voted out of the game in 5-3-2 vote. The other members of the Fab Five explained to Natalie why Jeremy was blindsided, but Natalie vowed to get revenge on Jon. At the Reward Challenge, the team of Baylor, Missy, Natalie, and Wes lost the challenge. Wes was exiled and Reed gave up his reward to Missy. While at camp, Natalie said she and Baylor would get water while the men checked the fishing net. However, this was a ploy by Natalie so they could look for the Hidden Immunity Idol using the clue they had previously received on Exile Island; Natalie found the idol. At the Immunity Challenge, both Baylor and Jaclyn dropped out for cookies and milk. Reed would outlast Natalie to win immunity. With the presumed biggest threat immune, the Fab Five decided to have a split vote between Keith and Wes. However, Reed anticipated this and used the opportunity to try to blindside Jon. However, this was foiled as Jon and Keith both used their idols. This sent Wes packing as he was only one with votes

At the next Reward Challenge, the Fab Five was quick to knock out the minority alliance members. However, then when the remaining castaways started talking about who to knock out, host Jeff Probst offered to end the challenge and declare a winner. The others allowed Missy to win and Jon volunteered to go to exile. Missy picked Baylor and Natalie to join her. Jaclyn was upset because she was chosen to go. When Reed said that his alliance liked her, Baylor responded saying that he liked everyone. Reed then said he was a people person and called Baylor a brat. Missy started to yell at Reed for his comment. The women enjoyed horseback riding in the Nicaraguan countryside but were worried about Jaclyn flipping. At the Immunity Challenge, Keith won and Reed was unanimously voted out. At the next Reward Challenge, Baylor was the third person to drop out. Natalie would win and picked Jaclyn and Jon to join her in the breakfast in bed reward. Because of the reward taking place at camp, Baylor, Missy, and Keith did chores to avoid watching the reward. Natalie came to Baylor and revealed her plan to blindside Jon, but told Baylor to not tell Missy. Baylor was uncomfortable about not telling her mom about the plan to vote out Jon but didn't want him to hurt her mom like her ex-husbands did. However, Jon won immunity. Jon wanted to have a split vote between Keith and Alec, with Keith getting the boot. Natalie told Baylor that she was going to vote out Alec. Although Baylor did like Alec despite the antagonism between, she voted against him and Alec left in a 4-3 vote.

After Tribal Council, Baylor was giggling when Natalie claimed to her alliance that she voted for Alec by mistake as she still wanted Jon gone. At the Reward Challenge, Baylor was teamed with Jaclyn and Natalie but lost. During the challenge, Missy hurt her ankle. The medical team declared her fit to continue the competition and Missy chose to stay. Jon gave up his reward to Baylor as a way to secure loyalty to his alliance. Natalie won immunity over Jon and pleaded with Baylor to vote against Jaclyn as a fail-safe in case Jon played his idol. Baylor pleaded with her mom to vote Jaclyn under the premise that they needed to make a move. Despite Missy's hesitancy, the vote went as planned to create a 2-2-2 tie; Jon was voted out in the revote. The women all decided to turn on Keith for being a jury threat. However, he won the final five Immunity Challenge. At Tribal Council, Baylor voted against Jaclyn. Natalie decided to play her idol, apparently on herself. However, she asked Jaclyn if she wrote the name that she was told to. Jaclyn nodded and Natalie used the idol to negate the three votes cast against her. The remaining two were against Baylor and she was blindsided, becoming the seventh member of the jury.

At Final Tribal Council, Baylor teared up from the jury bench during Reed's infamous "wicked stepmother" speech directed at her mother Missy. Baylor was the only jury member to vote for her mother, who finished in third place.
