Voting Confessionals

(votes for Ken) I'll let your frustration taking it out on me at Tribal Council go by the wayside. I'll see you on the other side. Sorry buddy, it's just time.

Marcus

(votes for Marcus) Marcus, you always told me that you liked comics where the little guy takes on the bad guy, or the bully. Well, hopefully that happens tonight.

Ken

(votes for Ken) Sorry Ken. However, spilling your guts tonight makes it a little bit easier.

Bob

(votes for Marcus) Marcus, I have a lot of respect for you, but Crystal and Kenny told me that you had it where you were gonna vote me out anyway. I wish you the best of luck, you're a good kid.

Susie

(votes for Marcus) You are not the Kota god. Go home. Goodbye.

Crystal

Final Words

I see the future of Kota Part Three as being probably a sneaky one. I mean, talk about corporate espionage. I feel bad for Bob. I don't see him necessarily surviving the next few days. You know, obviously the people that wrote my name down get to see me in the future. And, you know, I forgive, but I don't forget.

Trivia

Behind The Scenes

  • After his elimination, Marcus was temporarily sent to base camp to have his medical examination, where he revealed he lost 15 lbs. after 24 days. There, he slept in one of the air-conditioned collapsible cabins, before heading to Ponderosa the next morning. The next day, Marcus goes to the nearby lighthouse, where he retrieved the Ponderosa flag and hung it on the lighthouse's baluster.
  • In a voice over, Jeff Probst revealed that since there are no roads leading to Ponderosa, eliminated contestants would be sequestered overnight at base camp, before they airlift them to Ponderosa the next morning. Before Tribal Council, jury members would be airlifted back to base camp, where they will be transported to the Tribal Council set.[2][3]

Life at Ponderosa

Other

  • The episode title was said by Bob Crowley referring to the Hidden Immunity Idol found at the feast. It was later said again by Matty Whitmore claiming that whoever took the idol would be kicked out of Eden.
  • This is the second time in Survivor history that the final ten contestants are thought to be merged, but actually switched tribes, the first time being "Mad Scramble and Broken Hearts".
  • This episode marks the first time there has been a second tribe switch in a single season of Survivor.
  • This episode marks the first and only time Marcus Lehman has not been immune from the vote.
