Amber Petty has certainly mingled with her fair share of celebrities. As an entertainment reporter, she has interviewed high profile stars from stage, screen, sport and the arts. Amber was most recently a regular Celebrity Insider columnist for New Idea where she interviewed stars such as Keith Urban, Ronn Moss and Chris Noth.
Amber’s passion for television began with her work at teen mag TV Hits, after which she went on to appear on MTV doing a regular celebrity/entertainment segment and then as a roving reporter. While at MTV, Amber was talent-spotted by Molly Meldrum, who offered her a role working alongside him. He invited her to co-host a major TV pilot.
The 35-year-old jokes that her school days have prepared her for the challenge of being a contestant on Celebrity Survivor. While Amber adapts well to any situation, she admits that the other contestants probably have more of a physical advantage.
Amber's chosen charity is the Australian Red Cross.
