Immunity Challenge: Nut Cracker
The castaways would play a variation of T-ball with the men competing against the men and the women against the women. The playing field would be divided into sections with different point values. Each castaway would take one swing at the ball. Wherever the ball comes to a stop would be that castaway's score. Two castaways, one man and one woman, with the highest score would win immunity.
Winners: John Fincher and Laura Morett

Voting Confessionals

Jaison did not say anything when he voted.

(votes for Erik) Erik, I'm voting for you because you are aggressive, you are unpredictable, and I don't know whether I can trust you or not.

Dave Ball

(votes for Erik) You are arrogant, cocky, machismo and bossy. I couldn't have planned a better and more timely exit for you myself. I can't believe I considered even trusting you. The fact that you think that I am the female version of you is insulting and disgusts me. I have no respect for you. Goodbye Erik.

Monica Padilla

(votes for Erik) As far as I'm concerned, this vote doesn't count. This happened at the last literally ten minutes and I didn't have the power to stop it. Everyone else is voting for you and so I have to too, but I think you did your job just like you said you would.

John Fincher

(votes for Erik) Sorry E but your own paranoia was your demise. The minute you turned against Galu and went against the girls, you had to go.

Laura Morett

(votes for Erik) Erik I'm voting for you and I really hope everybody does what they say they're gonna do.

Natalie White

(votes for Erik) You're a hell of a competitor man, and a slightly more decent guy than I gave credit for initially but almost your entire tribe asked us to do this so we kind of have to go with the flow to stay in the game so seyonara.

Mick Trimming

(votes for Erik) Don't think I don't know what y'all doing, this is the best blindside that ever happened.

Russell Hantz

(votes for Jaison) J-gone! I don't have anything to say about that.

Erik Cardona

(votes for Jaison) Jaison...

Shambo Waters

(votes for Erik) Erik you're an insane competitor and unfortunately it sounds like the entire tribe decided to vote you out, it's nothing personal. I saw the two of us going to the final together and I wish you the best.

Brett Clouser

(votes for Erik) I wanted to trust you but I think you had us all fooled, sorry.

Kelly Sharbaugh

Final Words

Wow. Wow, wow. I'm disappointed but I said playing Survivor would be looking into a mirror and I'm pretty proud of the face I see. I don't regret going home with the idol, it can't defend against something that's invisible, and this blindside was invisible to me but I gave 100% of my heart.

Behind the Scenes

Life at Ponderosa

  • This is the first time that the competing tribes were merged with more than ten members.
  • This is the first time since "Anger, Tears and Chaos" that two people were eligible to win individual immunity for a post-merge Tribal Council.
  • The episode title was said by Russell H. about the confusion before the vote.
  • This is the first time that a Hidden Immunity Idol is flushed out with most of the contestants unaware about it.
  • This is the first time that a contestant received ten votes in a single Tribal Council.
  • This is the first time Russell H. played a Hidden Immunity Idol, but did not get any votes. He would later make the same move on one occasion in "Jumping Ship".
