The Australian Outback

I will always wave my finger in your face!

—Alicia (to Kimmi)

Alicia proved an asset to her tribe because she was physically fit, thus she was not targeted early on in the game. After her tribe, Kucha, lost the first Immunity Challenge, she was approached by both Debb Eaton and Jeff Varner, who were trying to get each other voted off. Alicia was more receptive to Jeff, and participated in the unanimous vote off of Debb.

On Day 4, Alicia and her tribe were annoyed that Michael Skupin put rice on the fire without asking, thinking he did it just because he was hungry. Alicia believed there to be an overall theme to Michael that he thought things revolved around him, including when he started to catch fish for the tribe and his use of their only knife to hunt for pigs.

Calaway had a memorable argument with Kimmi Kappenberg, because of the latter's vegetarianism, as Kimmi wanted to regulate the consumption of the chickens they had won after a Reward Challenge, leading to the show's most iconic conflicts, the finger-wagging incident.

She eventually made to the merge, but was eliminated on Day 24 for being a physical threat by the dominant Ogakor alliance.

At Final Tribal Council, Alicia gave her jury vote to Tina Wesson, saying she played the game by using her head. Tina would win in a 4-3 vote over Colby Donaldson.

All-Stars

Because of her memorable personality and actions, Alicia was invited back for All-Stars. Alicia was placed on the red Chapera tribe. Because of only getting a machete, Alicia focused on Making fire to boil water. However, Boston Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich wanted to improve the shelter after a horrid first night. Alicia and Boston Rob clashed over priorities, leaving them annoyed with one another. At the first Immunity Challenge, it was revealed that there was three tribes. Chapera came in first, followed by Mogo Mogo. After a heavy rainstorm, the tribe celebrated to finally have fresh drinking water. Tree Mail had a locked box. At the Reward Challenge, Chapera struggled. Saboga won the challenge but elected to give up their reward so everyone can have flint. Boston Rob and Big Tom Buchanan wanted to make fire, but Alicia took over herself and succeeded. This didn't change Boston Rob's opinion of her. At the Immunity Challenge, Alicia sat out for Chapera, who easily came in first.

The next Tree Mail had a tool box and a note imply the challenge was building the best shelter. While Boston Rob and Big Tom build the shelter, Alicia worked on the shelter's aesthetics. She and Rob Cesternino gathered rocks. Rob C.'s lack of work ethic annoyed everyone and Alicia made him gather more rocks. When the judge came, he was highly impressed by the shelter. Later, a crate was dropped from the sky, signifying they has came in first. In addition to a clue to opening the Rice box, the tribe won pillows, blankets, a tarp and wine. The tarp and parachute can in handy due to a heavy rainstorm that came later that night. The next Immunity Challenge was cancelled due to Jenna Morasca leaving the game to be with her mother. At the Reward Challenge, Alicia would score the winning point in Matchmaker. This gave Chapera another first place finish, a survivor bathroom and the final clue to the lock box. Chapera enjoyed its reward. Alicia claimed in a confessional that Chapera could not lose the next Immunity Challenge. Alicia was the caller in the Immunity Challenge. Despite gaining all of their puzzle pieces first, Chapera faltered at the puzzle and came in last. Although in danger because of her mouth, Alicia was spared and Rob C. was voted out due to being a strategic threat after the merge.

The next Tree Mail implied the challenge was building a raft for a race. At the Reward Challenge, the first place tribe would get fishing supplies. However, Everyone was shocked when it was revealed that last place tribe would be dissolved. Chapera came in second after Mogo Mogo and was left in tact. From the former Saboga tribe, Rupert Boneham and Jenna Lewis became Chapera. The two were impressed by the shelter, with Rupert likening his old one to Hobo Junction. Chapera won the Immunity Challenge. However, Richard Hatch accidentally touched Sue Hawk while naked. Sue became increasingly fixated on the incident. Alicia tried to comfort her but had a hard time doing so. This would cause her to quit the game at the next challenge. The tribes agreed to continue with the challenge, which Mogo Mogo Won. The tribe had a moment of silent for Sue, but carried on like normal. Alicia was disturbed that she was the only one concerned that the tribe lost a really tough tribe member. Afterwords, Chapera would win all challenges in the next few days.

On Day 22, the tribe gotten Tree Mail with a note heavily implying a merge. It also had a can of paint, which the tribe decorated themselves with. When the tribes met, each was a number and would be paired with someone. Alicia gotten number four and was paired with Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien. When they returned, everyone was excepting a merge buff. Instead of the merge, It was a surprise Tribe Switch. With the exception of Amber, Chapera became the new Mogo Mogo and had to go their camp. Everyone was displeased about the dissorganized nature of the camp and upset about losing Amber. The only good thing they had was a welcome basket they found in the shelter. The next Tree Mail implied the challenge was trivia of past seasons. Although the new Mogo Mogo won the tiebreaker over Chapera, the victory was viewed as bittersweet due to the likely elimination of Amber. Boston Rob told Lex van den Berghe if he protected Amber, he protect him. Boston Rob decided to align with Alicia as a back-up in case Amber was voted out. At the Reward Challenge, Mogo Mogo was joyous that Amber somehow survived. The challenge was individual. Alicia was out in the last round before the final, which Rupert won.

The next time the tribes met, the castaways had to drop their buffs again. But this time, the merge finally happened. Amber and Jenna eventually came up with the name Chaboga Mogo. At the first individual challenge of the season, Kathy and Boston Rob defeated Amber and Lex respectively to win immunity. Boston Rob turned the vote against Lex, who was very angry at Rob for not owning up to the deal he made. Due to heavy rains, camp life was miserable. The next challenge was a two parter. The first part was a obstacle course which the first team would win letters from home, rain ponchos and advanced to two part to compete for individual immunity and the right to see a video from home. Alicia's video had her mom on it. Alicia was the captain and picked Rob, Amber, and Shii Ann Huang. They won the first half of challenge. Boston Rob would win immunity and give up his video so others can see their videos. Kathy and Shii Ann scrambled, pointing out that Alicia and Big Tom would be the first two to go and Rob, Amber, and Jenna would be the final three if thing didn't change. Chapera stayed strong and Kathy was voted out 6-2.

The weather conditions were still horrible, preventing them from fishing. The next Tree Mail was a mask that implied the reward was food, with made everyone happy. The reward was revealed that everyone would go to a restaraunt and the winner would decided who gets what. Before the challenge started, everyone had to fill out a questionaire on what they think of their tribe members. The challenge was a three-strikes challenge but using peoples opinions instead of trivia questions like the previous times. Alicia was the third out, with Rupert eventually winning the challenge. After the challenge, Alicia was upset because of the unflattering responses of her. The other women (especially Jenna) tried consoling her, but she didn't want to hear it. Rupert himself, Jenna, Amber, and Rob picked the best four items (Steaks, burgers and fries, hot dog with saurkaut and a ham and cheese sandwich). Alicia picked the salad over potatoes and Rice. Alicia talked with Big Tom and about sticking together and who to vote out. The target, Shii Ann, won individual immunity. Alicia was annoyed about Shii Ann's celebration and warned Shii Ann to not get cocky as she had to return to camp with them. Alicia assumed the original Chapera would stick together. However, Boston Rob turned the vote against her over Rupert and Alicia was unanimously voted out.

At Final Tribal Council, Alicia told the finalists that they had mastered butt kissing and ego stroking. She then stated that, while they may have outplayed, outwitted and outlasted the jury, they had not outclassed them. Alicia asked them to describe how they played the game in one word. Rob answered "competitive", and Alicia had to asked him to speak up. Amber clearly and confidently said "luck". Because of her answer, and the fact she was angry that Boston Rob broke their alliance, Alicia voted for Amber to win which she did in a 4-3 vote.
