Adam Gentry is a contestant from Survivor: Cook Islands.
The last standing former Rarotonga in opposition to the mighty Aitu Four alliance, Adam seized control on all incarnations of his tribe and was in the power position in many instances, especially when it came to voting out tribe mates during the mutiny. However, once his ally Jonathan Penner turned on their alliance at the merge, he found himself in the minority. With no immunity to secure himself, he was voted out by the Aitu Four.

Adam started out on the Rarotonga tribe with Parvati Shallow, Candice Woodcock, Jonathan Penner, and Jessica Smith. After Jonathan returned from Exile Island, being sent by the Manihiki tribe, Adam had an argument with his tribe. Candice told him to watch out, with him promising her he will. After a tribe dissolve and two switches, Adam stayed on Rarotonga with Parvati. Visiting numerous Tribal Councils, his tribe gave up J.P. Calderon, Stephannie Favor, Cristina Coria, Brad Virata, Rebecca Borman, and Jenny Guzon-Bae. When a merge was finally called, Adam was grateful. But Adam and the others would soon fall into the hands of the Aitu Four, as they picked off everyone, one by one. When Adam's only ally, Parvati, was voted off, Adam knew he had to win immunity or else he was toast, which he failed to do. Adam attempted to convince Ozzy Lusth and Sundra Oakley to vote against Yul Kwon in order to flush out his Hidden Immunity Idol. At the next Tribal Council, Adam was voted off in a 4-1 vote.
At Final Tribal Council, Adam called the finalists boring and asked Ozzy Lusth to describe why the other two finalists are not as deserving as himself with praising himself. Ozzy said Yul didn't but all of his effort into the game and called Becky Lee a coattail rider. While he wanted to vote for Ozzy, he voted for Yul instead because he promised Yul his jury vote if he voted out Jonathan before him. Yul narrowly defeated Ozzy in a 5-4-0 vote.
