Spurred by the recent voting outcomes, Jenna belatedly took the lead in attempting to get into the alliance-forming business. When Colleen won the Reward Challenge, first prize was a barbecue dinner for two, and the reciept of letters from family back home. Colleen brought Jenna with her. There they decided to align. They knew they could convince Gervase to join the alliance. If only they could have swayed Kelly or Sean, Jenna would not have been the ninth person voted off the island.
