Ok, I’m posting this for anyone who is interested in applying for the show. It’s a big pet peeve of mine that people don’t follow this rule. The rule: Unless otherwise instructed, do not let anyone know you have an idol or advantage, THEY WILL STAB YOU IN THE BACK!!!!! This has happened 9 times out of 10, and it baffles me that supposed super fans don’t realize this!!

Did y’all know David Jelinsky is allergic to coconuts? Can y’all please add a trivia from his page. Thanks!

The Survivor Wiki Twitter/X account received reports of a Survivor contestant being marked as the first player to have ADHD in their wiki article's trivia section. It is categorically false, as a former contestant was diagnosed with ADHD, but decided not to make it a part of their narrative.
Unless the players explicitly admitted their gender preference, being neurodivergent, or any analogous information about themselves, such sensitive information will not be allowed on Survivor Wiki unless the person (or someone of equal credibility and with consent from the person concerned) deliberately admitted to it on the show, in interviews, social media posts, or to Survivor Wiki itself.
There was actually a precedent during the original run of Millennials vs. Gen X, where Zeke, who was not out as a transgender person at the time (take note that this information was only made public in Game Changes, the season after Millennials vs Gen X; albeit unceremoniously). Citing yearbook photos, clippings from Zeke's school paper, editors added this in Zeke's article's trivia section. The next day, a Fandom staff member by the name of Mira Laime took all related edits down, explaining that "someone" requested to have those information deleted, the identity of the guy was never revealed. One can guess that the party that made the request was either CBS or Zeke himself. Given that Zeke was unceremoniously outed caused outrage in social media, I understood the gravity of the situation.
Edit in question: https://survivor.fandom.com/wiki/Zeke_Smith?direction=prev&oldid=420914
Mira Laime's Explanation: https://survivor.fandom.com/wiki/Message_Wall:Mira_Laime?threadId=4400000000000005066#4400000000000011339
We at Survivor Wiki should be careful not to let a similar incident happen again. Editors who will make negligent edits of this nature will be dealt with accordingly.
FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE.
Thank you.

I love this show it’s Really Good I love it my favorite characters were Cody and Spencer
In CI all she did was flirt with Adam, and bully Penner which didn't help when he was the swing vote, In Micronesia she did play a good game I'll give her that. Her good moves this season include uniting the fan girls and the favorite girls to vote off Ozzy, and not taking an idol because then her target Natalie would expect her to use it to save her, but why was her target, Natalie? Why did she stick with Amanda and Cirie who both played better games. Also, she had literally nothing to do with the Erik blindside (besides following the plan to vote for him) which was the move of the season. In HvV she is unable to get herself into the majority alliance and needs Russel to save her. At the merge she makes her "amazing" move of wasting an idol (I know so smart) that she could've used to save Danielle later which would've likely resulted in her winning. She also does an awful job of controlling the hobbit on crack. Finally, In WaW, why doesn't she make Wendall in offer? All she had to do was say "Vote Yul" rather than "No" and she would've been practically guaranteed merge. Now please tell me why on earth everyone loves her so much. She is not the greatest Survivor player of all time, and she is a B tier winner.
Hey guys, I wanted to ask the community about something that has been itching me for years about information from behind-the-scenes/secret scenes/exit interviews being mainstreamed in our articles.
As it stands, information from the aforesaid media does exist on this wiki by way of being included in our episode articles' "Trivia" sections and game mechanic articles (but relatively sparingly in comparison). With Survivor Wiki being the at the forefront of Survivor-related information, we aim for transparency and giving the best content for our fellow fans.
For example, our current Featured Article is Parvati Shallow, and in her Winners at War subpage, I have indicated there her close friendship with Ethan, which was not explored enough in the edited show, but can be explicitly seen in secret scenes.
I understand if there will be people who would want to keep such information limited as trivia to equally portray what the show wants us to see, but I also believe that given how the internet can be very unforgiving to the contestants, I think it's best to shed light on information that weren't shown in the edited show to alleviate online backlash if it can be helped. Not saying we coddle bad behavior of players who were made into villains; what I'm saying is that, we should be more objective in our editing to help give the audience a better view on what really went on the island.
Let me hear your thoughts.
She said herself on twitter that her husband is latino (which is why her surname is Gonzalez), but she herself is of Lebanese descent: https://twitter.com/Dr_M_S_Gonzalez/status/1754856733493641257
This means that she is Middle Eastern/West Asian-American not Latin American and I think her wiki page's category should be updated
Hello!
As you might have noticed, there are articles that have subpages, namely galleries, game mechanics, and contestants. Subpages are created to reduce page size by dissecting applicable articles into meaningful parts.
Some articles may have some pictures to better depict the highlights of episode (for episode articles) or the players' time in the game (for castaway articles). Gallery subpages however are meant to bear most, if not all, available and relevant press photos.
Some articles pertaining to game mechanics have subpages because their history is too extensive that putting them into one article will be very exhausting for the common reader to scroll down, especially if the game mechanic is being used across multiple versions and seasons. Have you seen the Hidden Immunity Idol article and how ridiculously long it is?
Articles of 2-time returning players times need not to have subpages. However, castaways who have played 3 or more times are required to have subpages for every season they competed in to decongest their main article. Sections depicting the person's time on each season may still have blurbs, but should be abridged versions of the information in the subpages. As an example, please refer to Parvati Shallow's article.
If you have suggestions for article subpages, please let us know in the comments.
Thank you.

So I was browsing X/Twitter a few minutes ago to find out there have been spoilers for Survivor 46. To enforce our spoiler policy (and for my peace of mind), much to my regret, I have decided that we won't have a Fantasy League for the upcoming season.
For future @Lakadium8637 / @Lakadium8367 / @Lakadium637 wannabees out there, not today. LMAO
